Published thickness differs slightly by source: Speake-Marin’s official brochure lists 9 mm, while its 2022 partner book lists 9.20 mm. Water resistance and practical limits
The published 5 ATM / 50 m rating is a specification, not evidence that this particular watch has been independently tested for swimming or diving. The separate Ripples Gold user guide says that model’s 5-bar rating assumes the crown is screwed back to position 0. Because that guide is for another variant, it should not be treated as the operating manual for reference 604015070; consult the exact watch’s own user guide for crown and water-resistance instructions.
Collective Horology’s June 2024 article notes that the Ripples models it discusses lack lume. That observation is collection-level coverage and does not establish every detail of the anniversary reference’s dial or night-time legibility.
