The Ultimate Speedmaster Exhibition by Davidoff Brothers was a one-night gathering in Geneva on October 28, 2015, marking the first anniversary of Roy and Sacha Davidoff’s vintage-watch boutique. Fratello Watches reported that more than 40 Speedmasters were displayed and approximately 300 guests attended.
Why the Davidoff Brothers held the exhibition
Roy and Sacha Davidoff were long-time collectors who had turned vintage watches into their full-time business. They organized the event for clients, friends, press and Speedmaster collectors to mark a year since opening their boutique.
Who helped organize it
The brothers organized the evening with Grégoire Rossier and Anthony Marquié, authors of Moonwatch Only, a reference work devoted to Speedmasters. The book’s focus fit an exhibition built around the range and history of Omega’s chronograph line.
Which Speedmasters were on display
Robert-Jan Broer’s report for Fratello Watches described more than 40 watches. The reported selection ranged from the earliest Speedmaster reference 2915 to Racing-dial limited editions and a gold Speedmaster Professional Apollo XI from 1969. Rather than focusing on a single launch or reference, the exhibition brought together early, specialist and commemorative examples.

How many people attended, and what happened to the watches
Fratello reported that approximately 300 guests attended and that most of the displayed watches sold quickly to collectors; some had sold before the exhibition opened. These are figures and sales details from the publication’s event report, not independently audited attendance or sales records.

Broer’s article was published on November 3, 2015, shortly after the exhibition. He stated that he had to cancel his trip and did not attend, so his account is not an eyewitness report. Roy Davidoff supplied the images used with the article. The event details and outcomes here are therefore attributed to Fratello’s contemporary report rather than presented as firsthand observations.
