What the strap is—and what “sailcloth” means here
The name can be misleading: the ZULUDIVER strap described in Fratello’s Strap Check is not woven from sailcloth. Fratello’s author corrected an earlier assumption and identified the strap as printed or textured PVC rubber, designed to give a sailcloth-like appearance. ZULUDIVER describes its Mayday Regatta as PVC/rubber with sailcloth styling; its product listing also describes a Lorica lining. Those are maker descriptions, not independent material testing.
That distinction matters if you specifically want a woven textile strap. The reviewed strap offers a sailcloth look in a rubber-based construction instead. Check ZULUDIVER’s current product listing for the precise construction and sizes offered, since product details and stock can change.
Will it fit your Superocean?
There is no single lug width for every Breitling Superocean. Breitling’s specifications for two particular references illustrate the difference, while an owner forum reports a narrower width for an older model:

Match the lug end, then check the buckle
When choosing a strap, first match its width at the watch end to the lug gap. A size written as 24/20 mm normally indicates a 24 mm lug end tapering to a 20 mm buckle end: the first number does not mean it will fit a watch with 20 mm lugs.

If you plan to reuse the factory clasp or buckle, check the strap’s buckle-end width separately. The A13340 forum discussion cautions that a different buckle-end width can make an aftermarket strap incompatible with the factory clasp, even when the lug end fits. What the Fratello author thought of the fit and feel
Fratello’s author said the strap arrived to their delight, felt exceptionally comfortable immediately, and needed no break-in. They also liked its boxy shape and subtle taper. A participant in the historical A13340 forum discussion named the Bergeon 6767F, but that is an owner’s suggestion, not a Breitling recommendation or an official procedure. Use a tool appropriate to your spring bars and take care not to scratch the case or damage the lugs.
