Studio Underd0g announced the 01SERIES Av0cado (01AVB) and Guacam0le (01GUFG) on April 23, 2025, as two playful green chronographs. Both share a 38.5 mm steel case and manual-wind Seagull ST-1901B chronograph movement; their principal difference is the dial treatment. The nine-hour order window took place on May 8, 2025, so its reported prices are historical launch prices, not current offers.
Why Studio Underd0g introduced the two watches
The brand presented Av0cado as a cheeky response to copycat watch designs, while Guacam0le was described as a more original green mash-up. That is the launch framing reported by contemporary watch coverage, not a finding about intellectual-property infringement.
Time+Tide quoted Studio Underd0g founder Richard Benc: “It made me wonder if there was a more creative way to respond… The Av0cado and Guacam0le are proof that even a slightly sour situation can lead to something unexpectedly good.”
How Av0cado and Guacam0le differ
| Model | Reference | Dial design | What to expect visually |
|---|---|---|---|
| Av0cado | 01AVB | Yellow, green and brown tones referencing avocado flesh and pit; includes a chronograph subdial and tachymeter scale. | The warm yellow and brown accents distinguish it from the greener companion model. |
| Guacam0le | 01GUFG | Greener palette, described in launch coverage as a mash-up. | A more consistently green look; the published reports describe the two watches as functionally alike. |
The reported distinction is chiefly visual rather than mechanical. Neither model is presented in the cited coverage as having a different movement or case platform.

Published specifications
Fratello reported the following shared specifications for the pair. No model-specific official specification page was identified in the cited launch coverage, so these details should be read as published reporting rather than a maker-issued specification sheet.
| Specification | Reported detail |
|---|---|
| Case | 38.5 mm stainless steel; 12.9 mm thick |
| Crystal and back | Sapphire front crystal and display back |
| Movement | Manual-winding bespoke Seagull ST-1901B chronograph; 21,600 vph, 21 jewels, column wheel and swan-neck regulator |
| Power reserve | Fratello reports 45–50 hours depending on chronograph use. Time+Tide specifies 50 hours with the chronograph off and 45 hours with it running. |
| Water resistance | 50 m / 5 ATM |
| Strap | Black or dark-green Italian Epsom leather, reported at 20/16 mm. Time+Tide notes quick-release spring bars. |
| Lug-to-lug | 44.5 mm, as reported by Time+Tide |
For replacement straps, verify the exact lug width, buckle dimensions and quick-release arrangement against the specific watch and strap. A stated 20/16 mm strap dimension alone does not establish that every replacement will fit.

Can you still buy an Av0cado or Guacam0le?
The reported maker order window has passed. Current authorised availability, active marketplace inventory and current prices have not been established here. A marketplace search page may show indexed offers without proving that a particular watch is in stock, authentic or fairly priced.
If considering a secondary-market listing, check the seller’s reputation, the watch’s condition, included accessories and provenance. Confirm that any listing is live and that the pictured item and stated reference match the watch being offered. Studio Underd0g says it assembles watches in-house in Great Britain and identifies Richard Benc as its founder; that brand-level information does not verify an individual resale watch.
