The Antwerp launch party
In a report dated May 28, 2018, Fratello’s Bert Buijsrogge said the team drove to Antwerp after hearing about the Belgian launch of Swatch’s new Skin Irony collection. The party venue used campaign imagery showing faces decorated to resemble metal statues, while the watches were displayed centrally.
A Swatch Group 2018 annual-report excerpt also records a May launch and a press event in Antwerp. It corroborates the event context and describes the collection as eight thin metal watches. The excerpt is hosted on Scribd, rather than on a direct Swatch Group page.

Buijsrogge described eight launch models grouped into four pairs, with men’s and women’s options as well as some unisex designs. The report names the models and describes their straps or bracelets as follows:

The Fratello report gives the case size as 38 mm and the thickness as 5.8 mm. It lists launch prices ranging from €135 to €175. These are figures reported in 2018, not verified current specifications or prices; the article does not provide a model-by-model price breakdown.

Buijsrogge said the watch “wears very comfortably on the wrist.” That is his favorable first impression at the event, not the result of a measured wear test. The report does not establish movement performance, water resistance, durability, or present-day value.

The Antwerp event report is useful for understanding how Swatch presented the Skin Irony launch: eight models, a slim metal-watch concept, varied finishes and strap or bracelet materials, and a quoted 2018 price range. It is a historical collection and event account, not evidence that the watches remain available or that the models were independently tested.
