The GREEN ABYSS is Swatch’s 2025 addition to the Blancpain x Swatch Bioceramic Scuba Fifty Fathoms collection. Its official model number is SO35G100: an automatic watch with a green Bioceramic case, dark green-black dial and water-contact indicator at 6 o’clock.
What is the Green Abyss?
Swatch announced GREEN ABYSS on 3 June 2025 as the latest colorway in its Bioceramic Scuba Fifty Fathoms collaboration with Blancpain. The manufacturer lists the model as SO35G100. Its design combines deep green, sandy beige and black accents; Swatch describes the dial as black with a dark green hue. (Swatch launch announcement; official product page)
Design and water-contact indicator
Swatch identifies the case and crown as Bioceramic. The launch announcement describes the case and loop as made from a composite derived from castor oil. A water-contact indicator is positioned at 6 o’clock; Swatch says, “A change in the sensor’s color signals the presence of moisture.” Treat that indicator as a moisture signal, not as confirmation that a watch is undamaged or safe to use in water.
Movement and stated water resistance
Swatch lists the Green Abyss as automatic, and identifies SISTEM51 as the movement used across the collection. On the collection page, Swatch describes SISTEM51 as having 51 parts, a single central screw, 90-hour autonomy and anti-magnetic protection through a Nivachron hairspring. These are manufacturer specifications, not independent test results. (Swatch collection page)

Swatch lists the model at 9 bar and expresses the collection rating as 50 fathoms (91 meters). These are the maker’s stated figures; no independent water-resistance test is established here. A specification does not establish the water-tightness of an individual used, damaged or poorly maintained watch.
Availability and checking the local price
Swatch describes the collection as non-limited and says it is sold at selected Swatch stores, with a limit of one watch per person, per store, per day. This policy does not establish current stock at a particular location. Availability and prices can vary by country and date, so check the local official product page or store finder before visiting or buying. (collection details and store finder)

How Green Abyss fits the collaboration
The Scuba Fifty Fathoms line draws on Blancpain’s Fifty Fathoms, which Blancpain and Swatch describe as the first true diver’s watch, launched in 1953. Swatch’s launch announcement says Blancpain incorporated a water-contact indicator into select models from 1954 onward, including watches designed for diving clubs and military units. These historical details are the brands’ account of the line’s inspiration. (Swatch launch announcement)
Blancpain’s 2023 collaboration document says the original five watches had straps made from recycled fishing nets. That detail applies to those original models; it does not establish the Green Abyss strap’s construction. (Blancpain’s 2023 collaboration document)
