Best known for playing Rocky Balboa, Sylvester Stallone is an American actor recognized worldwide. He also starred in Rambo, Creed, The Expendables, and even in the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. Aside from acting, Stallone is also a director, screenwriter, businessman, and watch collector.
Among his watches, it is undeniable that Stallone loves his Panerai. He wore several pieces in his films that helped the brand gain popularity in Hollywood. As such, some of the brand’s special editions were launched in his honor. Yet, aside from Panerai, Stallone also has some of the iconic classic timepieces in his collection.

Sylvester Stallone’s Watch Collection
Panerai Luminor Regatta 1950 Rattrapante
In the movie The Expendables, Stallone wore a Panerai Luminor 1950 Regatta Rattaprante. It is a special edition timepiece, with only 500 pieces produced. It features an automatic mechanical movement driven by the exclusive Panerai OP XVII calibre. Its functions include hours, minutes, small seconds, and split-seconds chronograph with two counters. On its 44mm case is a black dial with Paris Hobnails decoration along with Arabic numerals and hour markers.
Panerai Luminor Marina Militare
In another movie, Rambo (2008), Stallone was seen wearing the Panerai Luminor Marina Militare. This particular model is also limited, with only 1,000 units produced. It comes with a P.3000 calibre hand-winding mechanical movement with 21 jewels. Its black analog dial comes with luminous Arabic numerals and hour markers. It has a 47mm case made of 316L polished stainless steel and a bezel made of steel as well. The dark brown strap is made of calf leather. It is water-resistant up to 100 meters.
Panerai Radiomir Egiziano PAM 341
Another limited edition Panerai that Stallone owns is the Radiomir Egiziano PAM 341. This timepiece boasts of a 60mm titanium case with a tritium-filled bezel pip and a leather strap. It is powered by calibre P.2002/7 hand-winding mechanical movement that contains 21 jewels and has a power reserve of up to eight days. It has a black sandwich dial with Arabic numerals and hour markers and is covered by a sapphire crystal.
Rolex Submariner
The Rolex Submariner is one of the first watches recognized on Stallone’s wrist. He was seen wearing it since the early 1980s, or his Rocky days. Although he would still wear it from time to time even in the later years.
Stallone’s Rolex Submariner is a yellow gold watch with a black dial. This Swiss-made timepiece is driven by an automatic self-winding movement. The 40mm case, unidirectional bezel, and bracelet are both made of 18k yellow gold. The dial window, on the other hand, is made of anti-reflective sapphire. It is water-resistant up to 300 meters.
Rolex GMT Master II
Another iconic luxury timepiece that Stallone owns is a customized Rolex GMT Master II Pepsi. Instead of an acrylic or a Cerachrom bezel, Stallone’s GMT Master II has diamonds, sapphires, and rubies on the bezel to form the iconic “Pepsi dial“. More so, instead of stainless steel for the case and bracelet, his is made of 18k white gold.
The Rolex GMT Master II Pepsi is driven by an automatic movement with approximately 70 hours of power reserve. It is Swiss-made with GMT and date functions.
Rolex Seadweller
On his Instagram post (shown below), Stallone proudly shows off his Rolex Deepsea Sea-Dweller that he bought during his European trip.
The said timepiece is a 44mm steel watch with a unidirectional black ceramic bezel and dark blue dial. It comes with luminescent hands and hour markers and has a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal dial window. It is also powered by a self-winding automatic movement. Patek Philippe Nautilus 5980/1R-001
Aside from Panerai and Rolex, Stallone also has several Patek Philippe timepieces in his collection – one of which is the Patek Philippe Nautilus 5980/1R-001. He was seen wearing the said watch in a black-tie dinner event titled Experience with Sylvester Stallone that was held in London in July 2018. He also wore it during the 2019 Cannes Film Festival.
The Nautilus 5980/1R-001 is built with a distinctive rounded octagonal bezel. The timepiece is made of a rose gold stainless steel case and a gold bracelet. It has a black gradient dial with gold luminescent hour markers and a sapphire crystal. It has a calibre CH28-520 C mechanical self-winding movement. Patek Philippe Aquanaut
Also in 2019, Stallone was seen wearing a Patek Philippe Aquanaut in Los Angeles. His Aquanaut comes with a rose gold case and a brown strap. It also has a self-winding automatic movement, particularly a calibre 324 S C. The dial is embossed brown with Arabic numeral and index hour markers and luminescent hands.
Other celebrities with a Patek Philippe Aquanaut are Drake (his comes with an orange rubber strap), and Paul McCartney (with a black rubber strap).
IWC Chronograph
Stallone also has an IWC chronograph watch with pilot black dial and black alligator leather strap. It also has silver-tone hands and index hour markers, as well as minute markers around the outer rim. Aside from the chronograph subdials, it also has a day and a date function at the 3 o’clock position. The dial window is made of scratch-resistant sapphire crystal while the case is of stainless steel. It has a self-winding automatic movement, and water resistance of 30 meters.
