Which vintage Carrera inspired the design?
TAG Heuer says the design team looked to reference 2447 SN, a Carrera from the late 1960s. The anniversary model carries the recognizable silver-and-black dial treatment into a modern 39 mm steel case. Its luminous material is also updated: the brochure says the original tritium was replaced with Super-LumiNova on the new model.

The status is specific to those regional manufacturer pages and can change; the pages do not establish whether a particular retailer or pre-owned seller has a watch available. TAG Heuer’s U.S. page for CBN201D.FC6543 identifies that distinct watch.
When comparing the two, start with their references and case sizes, then check dial and counter layout, movement, strap, water resistance and availability. A shared Carrera name or a seller’s use of “panda” is not enough to establish that the specifications match.
