Their published specifications share the same basic dimensions and Sellita movement, so the main documented differences are dial design, case finish, lume and retailer availability. This is a researched collection guide, not an independent hands-on review: the available specifications and design descriptions come from Temporal Works and The Armoury.
What is the Temporal Works Series A?
Series A is Temporal Works’ first watch collection. The official pages identify three variants—Fortune, Sector and Rambler—built around a shared manual-wind mechanical platform. The brand describes a 37 mm case, a 19 mm lug width and a 50 m (5 ATM) water-resistance rating across the collection.
Temporal Works says the case, dial, hands, crown and buckle are produced in Japan, the movement is Swiss Made, leather straps are made by Jean Rousseau in France, and assembly takes place in Japan. Which Series A model should you choose?
- Choose Fortune if you want a glossy red dial and the collection’s most minimal face.
- Choose Sector if the black or navy/blue options and the quadrant-and-minute-track layout appeal to you.
- Choose Rambler if you prefer a bead-blasted matte case, its Black Sesame or Red Bean colors, or the brand-stated lume on the hands and track.
The shared dimensions and movement leave these documented design choices—and which variant is actually available from the retailer—as the clearest bases for comparison. The available descriptions do not establish independent differences in timekeeping performance or wear comfort.

Winding, setting and water resistance
Winding
Temporal Works says to wind the watch with the crown pushed in. Its FAQ estimates about 25 turns for a full wind and says resistance becomes strong when fully wound. The 42-hour reserve is the manufacturer’s stated figure, not a separately tested runtime.
Setting the time
Pull the crown out to set the time, then push it back in promptly. Temporal Works warns that moisture can enter while the crown is out.

Water use
The maker lists 50 m / 5 ATM and describes swimming as acceptable but diving as unsuitable. Follow that stated use guidance rather than treating the depth figure as an invitation to dive. Temporal Works FAQ
Straps, bracelets and fit
The published lug width is 19 mm, a useful measurement when looking for an alternate strap. Check that a replacement is exactly 19 mm and confirm its attachment type before ordering; third-party fit and quality have not been established here. The Armoury lists custom steel mesh bracelets and other strap options. Its Sector listing specifies a Jean Rousseau calfskin strap.

On The Armoury’s collection page observed October 7, 2026, Fortune, Sector and Rambler listings each showed USD 2,500; matte and polished steel bracelets showed USD 250 each, and an orange canvas strap showed USD 180. Warranty and servicing
Temporal Works states that the watch has a one-year limited warranty for defects in parts or workmanship. Its terms exclude items including the strap and crystal and set conditions involving genuine factory parts and authorized service agents; this is not a blanket promise to cover every repair or kind of damage. The brand says the Sellita movement can be serviced at a local watch repair shop and advises contacting the authorized retailer for recommendations.
