Short answer: The roughly $21 deal referred to the Android-only Chipolo ONE Point, not a current tracker. Chipolo discontinued the ONE Point and CARD Point in 2025. The closest current replacement is the Chipolo POP Bluetooth tracker for Android; choose the current Chipolo CARD for a wallet, LOOP for rechargeable and tougher protection, or Motorola’s moto tag 2 if you want UWB-assisted precision finding and a battery rated for more than 600 days.
These trackers can be better than an AirTag for an Android owner because they use Google Find Hub rather than requiring Apple’s Find My ecosystem. That does not mean every Android tracker has better range, accuracy, or network coverage than an AirTag.

The $21 story needs a date
The deal was real, but it is now a historical price story. A syndicated report published on March 12, 2025 described the Chipolo ONE Point as starting at $22 and the CARD Point at $28, with an Amazon promotion reducing the ONE Point to about $21. A separate listing dated February 19, 2026 quoted approximately $21 for one model and $23 for another, but that reference is not a current manufacturer price list.

- Easy Find & Family Sharing with Apple Find My: Quickly pair the FineTrack tag with your iPhone or iPad in just one tap. Using the pre-installed Find My app, add the Air Tracker tag to the Items tab to instantly locate and track your keys, wallet, and other valuables. With iOS 17 or later, you can also share your tracker’s location with family members, so everyone can help keep items safe. (Note: Compatible with iOS devices only, not for Android.)
- Smart Tracking Made Easy: Whether Bluetooth Air Tracker Tag is nearby or far away, locate it easily with the Find My app. When within Bluetooth range, play a sound to quickly find the item tracker tag; when out of range, the Apple Find My network uses its vast ecosystem of Apple devices to provide the item finder’s latest location. Enjoy global tracking with Apple’s Find My network without any subscription fees.
- Lost Item Alerts & Lost Mode: When your Air Tracker Tag moves out of range, the Apple Find My app sends an instant lost alert with the last known location. If your item is confirmed lost, you can activate Lost Mode and leave your contact information so nearby Apple devices can remotely access it and help locate your tracker, making recovery quick and easy.
- 2-Year Battery Life & Child-Safe Certified: The UGREEN 4-pack Bluetooth tracker tags feature a replaceable battery that lasts up to 2 years, outperforming standard 1-year trackers. You can check the tracker’s battery anytime in the app and replace it when needed, keeping your valuables always protected. Item finder tags are also UL4200A certified, preventing children from accidentally swallowing the battery.
- Your Privacy, Fully Protected: Certified by Apple MFi, this Bluetooth Air Tracker Tag uses end-to-end encryption to keep your location data private and secure. All communications are anonymous and encrypted, and no location data is stored on the device. Even if your item is lost, your information remains protected and cannot be accessed without your permission — not by Apple, the manufacturer, or any third party.
More importantly, Chipolo’s current documentation identifies both Point models as discontinued in 2025. Therefore, “Chipolo tracker for $21” should not be presented as an evergreen buying recommendation. A listing at that price may be old inventory, a temporary promotion, a marketplace offer, or a used product. Check the exact model, seller, battery condition, return policy, and Android compatibility before buying.
The current Chipolo products are POP, LOOP, and CARD. They replaced the Point range and can work with either Google Find Hub or Apple Find My, although a tracker can be active on only one of those networks at a time.
Why these are AirTag alternatives for Android—but not universal AirTag beaters
Apple AirTags are built around Apple’s Find My network and the normal owner setup assumes an iPhone or other compatible Apple hardware. Android phones can help detect unknown AirTags for safety purposes, but Android users do not get the same full-featured ownership experience as an iPhone user.
Google Find Hub provides the Android-native alternative. Compatible trackers use Bluetooth, and participating Android devices can securely detect a lost tracker and report an approximate location through Google’s crowdsourced finding network. The network is described as involving hundreds of millions of Android devices, but that fact alone does not prove it is larger, more accurate, or more reliable than Apple’s network in every location.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteThe useful comparison is ecosystem fit:
- Android phone: A Find Hub-compatible tracker is generally the more natural choice for setup, locating, and managing your own items.
- iPhone: An AirTag or a tracker configured for Apple Find My may be the simpler choice.
- Mixed household: Check which person will manage the tracker. Dual-platform products still use only one finding network at a time.
For Google Find Hub tracking to work properly, Bluetooth and location services must be enabled, the phone needs an internet or cellular connection, and the device must be eligible for the network. A tracker’s direct Bluetooth range is separate from its wider network-assisted location capability.
Current Android tracker choices at a glance
| Tracker | Best for | Battery | Protection and sound | Key limitation or caveat |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Chipolo POP | Keys, bags, luggage, and general Android use | Replaceable CR2032; up to about one year | Up to 120 dB; IP55; stated Bluetooth range up to 90 m/300 ft | Select Google Find Hub during setup; the same unit cannot also be active on Apple Find My |
| Chipolo CARD | Wallets and passport holders | Rechargeable by Qi wireless charging; up to about one year | About 110 dB; IP67; stated Bluetooth range up to 120 m/400 ft | Thin card format; Google Find Hub or Apple Find My, not both simultaneously |
| Chipolo LOOP | Users who want USB-C charging and stronger protection | Rechargeable by USB-C; up to about one year per charge | About 125 dB; IP67; stated Bluetooth range up to 120 m/400 ft | Not a wallet-card design |
| Motorola moto tag 2 | Durability, long battery life, and compatible-phone precision features | Replaceable CR2032; more than 600 days according to Motorola | IP68; 77 dB measured at 10 cm | UWB and Bluetooth Channel Sounding require specific phone hardware and software |
| Pebblebee Clip 5 | A clipped-on tracker with a safety-alarm angle | Verify the current product listing | Google identifies it as a Find Hub-compatible clip tracker | The compatibility directory is not a comparative test or guarantee of availability |
Best current replacement for the ONE Point: Chipolo POP
The Chipolo POP is the most direct current alternative to the old ONE Point. It keeps the familiar round, key-fob-oriented format, supports Google Find Hub on Android, and adds extra functions through Chipolo’s companion app. Those functions include out-of-range alerts, custom ringtones, and the ability to call a linked phone.
Rank #2
- 📱 Global Cloud Positioning – Works with both Google's Find Hub and Apple Find My (Not for GPS & Huawei)
- 📢 Loud Alert Sound – Built-in speaker with up to 105dB for quick locating
- 🔋 Far Superior Battery Life – Up to 2 years battery life on Android and ios
- 💧 IP65 Waterproof – It provides protection against rainwaterand splashes
- 🔊 Visualize Distance – Visualize distance using UWB technology within Bluetooth range, allowing you to immediately see the distance
For Android buyers, look for the Chipolo POP Bluetooth tracker for Android and confirm that the listing is the current POP rather than old ONE Point stock. POP uses a replaceable CR2032 battery rated for about one year, produces approximately 120 dB, has a stated Bluetooth range of up to 90 meters or 300 feet, and carries IP55 protection against dust and water splashes.
Those figures are manufacturer specifications, not guaranteed results in every home or street. Walls, metal, competing radio signals, crowds, and the position of the tracker can all reduce the usable direct range. POP is the sensible default when you want a current key tracker without paying for precision-finding hardware that your phone may not support.

Best wallet option: the current Chipolo CARD
The current Chipolo CARD is a rechargeable wallet tracker designed for a wallet, passport holder, or similarly thin compartment. It charges wirelessly with a Qi charger, has a stated battery life of up to one year, produces approximately 110 dB, and is rated IP67 for dust protection and temporary water exposure.
Android users should look for the Chipolo CARD wallet tracker for Android and verify that it is the current CARD, not the discontinued CARD Point. The current model supports Google Find Hub with Android 9 or later and Google Play Services. It can also be configured for Apple Find My on a compatible iPhone, but it cannot actively use both finding networks at the same time.
The older CARD Point had a thin card format measuring approximately 85.1 by 53.6 mm and 2.4 mm thick, but its battery was not user-replaceable. Do not assume those historical specifications describe the current rechargeable CARD, and do not buy an old CARD Point merely because its price resembles the original deal.
Best rechargeable and rugged Chipolo: LOOP
Chipolo LOOP is the better fit if you dislike replacing coin-cell batteries. It recharges over USB-C, offers up to one year of battery life per charge, and has a stated Bluetooth range of up to 120 meters or 400 feet. Its IP67 rating gives it stronger dust and water protection than POP, while its approximately 125 dB sound output is intended to make nearby items easier to locate.

- FIND YOUR ITEMS ON FIND MY — AirTag (2nd generation) helps you keep track of what matters. Attach one to an item you want to keep track of using the Find My app.*
- EXPANDED PRECISION FINDING ON IPHONE AND APPLE WATCH — Get step-by-step directions to your lost item on iPhone and, now, Apple Watch.*
- ENHANCED SPEAKER — With a 50% louder speaker and a new, distinctive chime, it’s easier than ever to hear and find AirTag.*
- PING FROM FAR AND WIDE — Upgraded Ultra Wideband and Bluetooth chips allow you to find your items from even farther away than ever before.*
- SHARE ITEM LOCATION — Share AirTag location access temporarily and securely with trusted contacts, third parties, or over 50 airline partners if you lose something important.
LOOP is a round tracker rather than a thin wallet card. It makes more sense for keys, luggage, a backpack, or a watch roll than for a wallet. As with POP and CARD, choose Google Find Hub if an Android phone will manage it, and remember that the quoted range is an idealized Bluetooth specification rather than a promised real-world distance.
Best premium Android option: Motorola moto tag 2
The moto tag 2 is the strongest alternative here for readers who prioritize ruggedness, long battery life, and precision-finding hardware over the lowest price or smallest form factor. Motorola lists Google Find Hub support, IP68 protection, a replaceable CR2032 battery rated for more than 600 days, Bluetooth 6.0 with Channel Sounding, and Ultra Wideband support.
It also includes features such as finding a linked phone, location sharing, and using the tracker as a shutter button. Its speaker rating is 77 dB at 10 centimeters. That number should not be compared directly with Chipolo’s higher-looking figures as a laboratory ranking: the measurement distance and product designs differ.
If this feature set matches your priorities, consider the moto tag 2 Android tracker. It is a tag, not a wallet card, so it is primarily suited to keys, bags, luggage, and other items with room for a traditional tracker.
Compatibility matters for precision finding
The moto tag 2’s advanced features are not universal across Android phones:
- Ultra Wideband: Motorola says it requires a UWB-capable Android phone running Android 12 or later.
- Bluetooth Channel Sounding: Motorola says it requires a supported Android phone with Bluetooth 6.0 and Android 16 or later.
- Availability: Feature availability can vary by region and by phone model.
Without the required phone hardware and software, the tracker can still be useful through Google Find Hub, but you should not buy it expecting every precision-finding feature to appear on your device.

Other current Find Hub choices: Pebblebee
Google’s official Find Hub compatibility directory includes Pebblebee products such as Clip 5, Card 5, and Tag variants. Google describes Clip 5 as a key or bag tracker that also serves as a safety alarm, while Card 5 is aimed at wallets and passport holders.
The Pebblebee Clip 5 Android tracker is worth considering if the clip format and alarm function matter more to you than staying within Chipolo or Motorola’s lineups. Treat Google’s directory as evidence of compatibility, not as a ranking. It does not establish that every listed tracker has equal accuracy, network performance, battery life, retailer availability, or value.
Quick wins for a faster PC:
Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Do the advertised Bluetooth ranges matter?
Only partly. The stated ranges are useful for comparing the manufacturers’ specifications, but they are not a promise that you will hear or connect to a tracker at that distance.
| Model | Advertised direct Bluetooth range | What that number does not mean |
|---|---|---|
| Discontinued ONE Point | Up to 200 ft/60 m | It does not guarantee a 200-foot indoor connection or a location fix anywhere within that radius. |
| Current POP | Up to 90 m/300 ft | Obstructions and interference can reduce the practical range. |
| Current CARD and LOOP | Up to 120 m/400 ft | It is not the same as the distance covered by the crowdsourced finding network. |
When you are nearby, the phone can use Bluetooth to communicate with the tracker and play its sound. When the item is farther away, the Google network may update its approximate location if an eligible Android device detects the tracker. That second scenario depends on Bluetooth, location services, internet or cellular connectivity, and other Android devices being in a useful position to detect it.
A stronger advertised Bluetooth range therefore does not automatically mean better citywide or worldwide recovery. Nor is there enough evidence here to claim that Google Find Hub is always larger or more accurate than Apple Find My.
How to choose the right tracker
- Start with your phone. If you use Android, select a product that explicitly supports Google Find Hub. For Chipolo’s current products, Android 9 or later with Google Play Services is required. If you use a dual-network product, decide whether Google Find Hub or Apple Find My will manage it.
- Match the shape to the item. Choose POP, LOOP, moto tag 2, or a similar tag for keys and bags. Choose CARD for a wallet or passport holder. A wallet tracker is not automatically the best choice for luggage, and a bulky tag is not a substitute for a thin card.
- Choose the battery type deliberately. POP uses a replaceable CR2032. LOOP uses USB-C charging. CARD uses Qi wireless charging. The moto tag 2 uses a replaceable CR2032 and has the longest stated battery life in this comparison.
- Buy precision features only if your phone supports them. The moto tag 2’s UWB and Channel Sounding capabilities depend on phone hardware, Android version, Bluetooth version, and regional availability.
- Consider exposure to water and dust. POP is rated IP55, while LOOP and the current CARD are rated IP67. Motorola lists IP68 for the moto tag 2. These ratings describe protection under specified conditions, not permission to treat a tracker as indestructible.
- Check the live price. The $21 figure belongs to a historical promotion. Compare the current retailer price with the current model, and verify stock before treating any deal as available.
Android setup checklist
Before relying on a tracker for keys, luggage, or a watch case, use this checklist:
Best Value
- 📱 Global Cloud Positioning – Works with both Google's Find Hub (Android Only,Not for GPS & ios)
- 📢 Loud Alert Sound – Built-in speaker with up to 85dB for quick locating
- 🔋 Far Superior Battery Life – Up to 2 years battery life on Android
- 💧 IP65 Waterproof – It provides protection against rainwaterand splashes
- 👮 Data Encryption – With the help of Google's technology, all location information is encrypted
- Confirm the phone meets the product’s Android and Google Play Services requirements.
- Install or open Google Find Hub and follow the tracker’s pairing instructions.
- Turn on Bluetooth and location services.
- Make sure the phone has an internet or cellular connection when you need network-assisted location updates.
- For a POP, CARD, or LOOP that will be managed by Android, select Google Find Hub rather than Apple Find My during setup.
- Ring the tracker while it is nearby so you know the sound and app controls work before the item goes missing.
- For the moto tag 2, check your exact phone model and Android version for UWB or Channel Sounding support rather than assuming that all Android phones provide precision finding.
Should you still buy a discontinued ONE Point for $21?
Only if you knowingly want legacy hardware and the price is low enough to justify the risk. The ONE Point’s historical specifications were respectable: Android 9 or later with Google Play Services, a keyring hole, IPX5 splash resistance, a replaceable CR2032 battery rated for up to one year, and a stated sound range of up to 200 feet or 60 meters.
But it was designed exclusively for the older Google Find My Device experience, and Chipolo now lists the Point models as discontinued. Remaining inventory may have been stored for a long time, and the deal may no longer be available. A current POP avoids the central problem: buying a product presented as new when the manufacturer has already moved on to a replacement lineup.
If you find an old listing, confirm the model name carefully. ONE Point is not POP, and CARD Point is not the current rechargeable CARD. Do not let a $21 headline hide the difference.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Chipolo ONE Point still available for $21?
The approximately $21 price was a historical promotion associated with the ONE Point. Chipolo identifies the ONE Point and CARD Point as discontinued in 2025, so the price should not be treated as a current list price. Any remaining listing needs separate verification of model, seller, battery condition, and return policy.
Can Android users use AirTags as normal Bluetooth trackers?
Android users can detect unknown AirTags for safety purposes, but AirTag ownership and item-finding features are built around Apple’s Find My ecosystem. An Android-native Google Find Hub tracker generally provides the more natural setup and management experience for an Android owner.
Which current Chipolo tracker is closest to the old ONE Point?
Chipolo POP is the closest current replacement because it is a round, key-fob-oriented tracker with Google Find Hub support, a replaceable CR2032 battery, and companion-app features. It is a current model, whereas ONE Point is discontinued.
Can the current Chipolo CARD use Google Find Hub and Apple Find My together?
No. The current CARD supports both ecosystems, but a tracker can be active on only one finding network at a time. Android users should configure it for Google Find Hub.
Does every Android phone support the moto tag 2’s precision finding?
No. Motorola says UWB requires a UWB-capable Android phone running Android 12 or later. Bluetooth Channel Sounding requires a supported Android phone with Bluetooth 6.0 and Android 16 or later. Availability can also vary by region and device.
Crashes, No Sound, or Screen Glitches?

Bottom line: The $21 deal was for a now-discontinued Chipolo ONE Point, so it should be treated as a dated bargain rather than a current product recommendation. For most Android users, buy the current Chipolo POP; choose CARD for a wallet, LOOP for USB-C charging and IP67 protection, or moto tag 2 for the longest stated battery life and compatible-phone precision features. In every case, compare the Android fit—not an unproven claim that the tracker universally outperforms Apple’s AirTag.
