What is the Kurono Toki?
The Toki is a time-only watch with a 37 mm case and a pale salmon-pink dial called Toki-Iro. The dial color is described as inspired by the feathers of the toki bird. Svaboe reports that Asaoka spent close to a year experimenting to achieve the shade.

The watch uses a Miyota 90S5 automatic movement. Svaboe praises the movement based partly on personal experience, but the feature is not a controlled durability test and does not establish a general reliability record.
What is the Kurono Chronograph 2?
The Chronograph 2 has a 38 mm case and a Seiko-based NE86A movement. The feature emphasizes its mid-century styling, multiple dial scales, chronograph registers, date, and detailed finishing. Compared with the Toki’s relatively restrained time-only display, it presents more information on the dial and serves a chronograph function.

How much did the Kurono Toki and Chronograph 2 cost?
Fratello reported launch-era prices of $1,738 for the Toki and $3,993 for the Chronograph 2 in its November 2021 article. These are historical figures attributed to that feature, not verified current prices or resale values.
How were the watches ordered in 2021?
The feature describes limited, timed pre-order windows and a Japan-market allocation at that time. That account is historical: it does not establish whether either model is currently offered, what ordering terms apply now, or whether the same allocation exists today.
