The BOVET Récital 30 brings the brand’s roller-based world-time system into a 42 mm by 12.9 mm case. It is smaller than the more complicated Récital 28, but 42 mm is a relative reduction—not a guarantee of a compact fit on every wrist. The Récital 30 concentrates on world time, using 26 rollers and two pushers to account for seasonal time changes across displayed cities.
How does the Récital 30 display world time?
The Récital 30 belongs to BOVET’s Dimier collection. Its world-time display is built around 26 rollers: 24 city rollers, one time-period roller, and one world-time roller. A central 24-hour world-time dial works with the rollers, while a day/night indicator is linked to local time. The watch also displays hours and minutes and has an additional offset minute hand. These specifications are listed on BOVET’s Récital 30 product page.
The rollers are controlled by two pushers on the right side of the case:
- Top pusher: rotates each roller by 90 degrees to select among the available seasonal settings.
- Bottom pusher: advances the central 24-hour world-time dial by one hour per press.
How does the Récital 30 handle daylight saving time?
BOVET lists four roller settings: UTC (Coordinated Universal Time), AST (American Summer Time), EAS (European and American Summer Time), and EWT (European Winter Time). The seasonal settings are intended to account for differing daylight-saving schedules among the displayed zones. BOVET says the system also accommodates offsets such as New Delhi’s half-hour difference.

This is the manufacturer’s description of how the mechanism handles seasonal changes, not an independent accuracy test. When setting the watch, the city and applicable seasonal period matter: the roller setting changes the represented time-period information, while the lower pusher adjusts the central 24-hour dial.
What makes the Récital 30 different from the Récital 28?
The Récital 30 is a more focused world-time watch, while the Récital 28 combines world time with additional complications. Cortina Watch’s comparison, published March 30, 2025, gives these dimensions and features:
Rank #2

| Model | Case dimensions | Complications noted in the comparison |
|---|---|---|
| BOVET Récital 30 | 42 mm by 12.9 mm | World-time system |
| BOVET Récital 28 | 46.3 mm by 17.85 mm | World time, perpetual calendar, and tourbillon |
The comparison makes “smaller” specific: the Récital 30 is narrower and thinner than the Récital 28. Its 42 mm diameter may still feel substantial, and wrist fit depends on more than diameter alone.
How big is the BOVET Récital 30, and what is it made of?
BOVET lists the case at 42 mm in diameter and 12.9 mm thick. Depending on the version, it is made from Grade 5 titanium, 18K red gold, or ceramic. The automatic movement has a stated 62-hour power reserve, and BOVET lists a five-year warranty. These are manufacturer specifications; the product page lists five variations.
