That was $100 below the $349 starting price and the lowest documented price reported for the model at the time. The deal is historical, though, so $249 should not be presented as the current price.
During Black Friday 2025, selected Oura Ring 4 configurations fell to $249—$100 below the model’s $349 starting price. The silver and black finishes were reported at that price at Amazon, Best Buy, and Walmart on November 20–22, 2025. It was the lowest documented price reported for the Oura Ring 4 at that time.
That promotion is historical, however. The evidence does not show that the $249 price remains available now, and prices can vary by retailer, finish, size, and inventory. Treat $249 as the Black Friday 2025 deal price—not as the Oura Ring 4’s current universal price.
Other reported deal prices: $299 for Stealth; $349 for gold and rose-gold finishes.
Current-status warning: Recheck the retailer listing before publication or purchase. The historical promotion may have ended.
What the Black Friday Oura Ring 4 deal included
| Finish or configuration | Reported Black Friday 2025 price | Reported reduction |
|---|---|---|
| Silver | $249 | $100 off $349 |
| Black | $249 | $100 off $349 |
| Stealth | $299 | $100 off |
| Gold | $349 | $150 off |
| Rose gold | $349 | $150 off |
The $249 price applied to selected standard finishes, not every Oura Ring 4. The deal reports identified Amazon, Best Buy, and Walmart as participating retailers for the standard configurations. A listing could still differ depending on the ring size, finish, seller, or whether stock had sold out.

Tom’s Guide separately reported the silver and black models at $249 through Amazon on November 22, 2025, describing it as the lowest price it had seen for the smart ring. NBC Select’s updated Black Friday coverage also described the promotion as the lowest price at the time, with a discount of almost 30%.
Is the Oura Ring 4 still $249?
Not based on the available evidence. The $249 price belongs to the November 2025 Black Friday promotion. Current manufacturer documentation and store references list the Ring 4 from roughly its $349 starting price, with premium finishes costing more, but those references do not prove that every size and finish is currently in stock or that any particular retailer has the same price.
If you are checking an old deal article, look for three details before buying:
- The date: the documented $249 promotion ran during Black Friday 2025.
- The exact finish: silver and black were the main $249 configurations.
- The exact size and seller: ring inventory is size-specific, and marketplace listings can change.
For a live purchase, check the Oura Ring 4 listing and compare the final price at the retailer before checkout. Any retailer button should be rechecked immediately before publication because the historical price is not a current-price guarantee.

What you get for the money
The Oura Ring 4 is a screen-free smart ring designed primarily for sleep, recovery, health trends, and activity tracking. Oura says the Ring 4 uses a fully titanium body with recessed interior sensors, comes in sizes 4 through 15, connects over Bluetooth Low Energy, and has 100-meter water resistance.
Its sensor package includes:
- Red and infrared LEDs for blood-oxygen measurements during sleep
- Green and infrared photoplethysmography sensors for heart rate and related measurements
- A digital temperature sensor
- An accelerometer for movement and activity detection
With an active membership, Oura lists detailed sleep analysis, 24/7 heart-rate tracking, temperature trends, blood-oxygen sensing, daytime stress tracking, automatic activity detection, cardiovascular features, resilience measurements, reports, and women’s-health features. The precise features available can depend on the current app and membership offering.
Battery life and charging
Oura’s current specifications give the Ring 4 a typical battery life of five to eight days. The company lists a typical charging time of 20 to 80 minutes. Actual results vary with ring size, settings, enabled features, battery age, and usage.
That is slightly more precise than the launch-era “up to eight days” claim: eight days is a maximum-style claim, while five to eight days is the current typical range. Neither figure should be treated as a guaranteed result for every owner.

Do not skip the sizing step
The Ring 4 is size-specific, and its sizing system differs from earlier Oura generations. Oura recommends using the Ring 4 sizing kit rather than assuming that a conventional U.S. ring size—or the size of an older Oura ring—will transfer correctly.
The Ring 4 sizing kit covers sizes 4 through 15. A correct fit matters for more than comfort: the sensors need consistent contact with the finger for reliable readings. Before using a retailer’s purchase button, check your Oura Ring 4 size with the correct sizing kit, especially if this is your first Oura ring or you are upgrading from a previous generation.
The subscription changes the real cost
The $249 hardware price was not the complete long-term ownership cost. In the United States, Oura’s membership is currently listed at $5.99 per month or $69.99 per year. New members receive one included month.
| Cost component | Amount or detail |
|---|---|
| Historical Black Friday hardware price | $249 for selected silver and black configurations |
| Original Ring 4 starting price | $349 |
| U.S. membership | $5.99 monthly or $69.99 annually |
| New-member trial | One included month |
| Official Ring 4 charger | $59; size-specific |
Without membership, the hardware remains usable, but the full set of analysis and software features Oura advertises is tied to an active membership. Anyone comparing the Ring 4 with a device that has no recurring fee should include at least the annual membership in the calculation.

Charging accessories you may need
Ring 4 charger
The official Ring 4 charger is listed at $59. It works with the Ring 4 and Ring 4 Ceramic, but it is size-specific: the charger must match the ring size. If you buy a replacement or a second charger, use the exact size rather than assuming one charger fits every Ring 4. A replacement Oura Ring 4 charger is most useful for keeping one charger at home and another at work or in a travel bag.
Charging case
Oura also documents a Ring 4 charging case that works with all Ring 4 models and can hold up to five full ring charges. It is a separate accessory, not part of the standard $249 deal. It makes the most sense for frequent travelers or anyone spending several days away from an outlet; occasional users may prefer the standard corded charger. Consider the Oura Ring 4 charging case only if portable charging solves a real problem for you.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Who should buy the Ring 4 at a future $249 price?
- Sleep-focused buyers: The Ring 4’s strongest case is discreet, overnight tracking rather than a screen-based smartwatch experience.
- People who want recovery and health trends: The device combines sleep, heart rate, temperature, stress, activity, and cardiovascular features in Oura’s app.
- Buyers comfortable with a subscription: The annual U.S. membership adds $69.99 after the included first month.
- People who prefer a small, screen-free wearable: There is no watch display or wrist notification experience.
Who should think twice?
- Anyone unwilling to pay a recurring fee: The membership is a material part of the ownership cost.
- People who need smartwatch features: The Ring 4 is not a replacement for a watch display, apps, calls, or wrist notifications.
- Buyers who cannot confirm sizing: The Ring 4’s size-specific fit and charger make guessing especially risky.
- Shoppers expecting every finish at $249: The documented price applied to selected silver and black configurations, while other reported finishes cost more.
How to evaluate the next Oura Ring 4 deal
- Confirm the date and retailer. Do not assume an old Black Friday price is still active.
- Choose the finish and size first. Compare the final price for the exact configuration you need.
- Use the Ring 4 sizing kit. Do not carry over a size from another Oura generation without checking.
- Add the membership to your budget. In the U.S., use $69.99 per year or $5.99 per month as the current reference.
- Check what is included. The charger and charging case are separate accessories.
- Compare return and warranty terms. Buy from Oura or an authorized retailer and verify the retailer’s current policy before payment.
Verdict
The Oura Ring 4 really did reach a notable Black Friday price: selected silver and black versions were reported at $249 in November 2025, $100 below the $349 starting price. That was the lowest documented price for the model at the time, but it is not evidence of a current $249 offer.
At that price, the Ring 4 became more compelling for buyers who value discreet sleep and recovery tracking and accept Oura’s membership. The deal is less attractive if you need smartwatch functions, dislike subscriptions, or have not confirmed your Oura-specific size. The best future offer will be the exact configuration you want at a verified price, with the subscription and accessories included in your total-cost calculation.
