The RSW Nazca G Power Reserve is an unusually large automatic chronograph with a well-documented but easily overlooked history: the Fondation du Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG) records the reference 4450.MS0.R1.PR.14.00 as a 2008 launch limited to 49 examples. Its combination of a 49 mm steel case, chronograph and power-reserve indicator gives it a distinct identity in the Nazca line.
What the archive establishes about the watch
The GPHG archive identifies the model as the RSW Nazca G Power Reserve, reference 4450.MS0.R1.PR.14.00. It records a 2008 launch and an edition of 49 examples. The archive lists CHF 4,450 excluding VAT as the price associated with that record; this is historical information, not a current asking price or valuation. GPHG archive entry

What makes its design distinctive
A notably broad case
At 49 mm, the steel case is the watch’s most immediately striking documented dimension. That measurement makes it a substantial choice on the wrist, so fit is worth considering in person if an example becomes available. The sources establish the diameter, but do not provide a case-thickness measurement here.
#1 Best Overall
- Case Size: 41.00 mm, Band Width: 20, Case Thickness: 14.19 mm
- Automatic movement, 316L stainless steel case, Index dial type
- Stainless steel bracelet, interchangeable quick release bracelet, butterfly clasp with push-buttons closure
- Water-resistant up to a pressure of 10 bar (100 m / 330 ft): suitable for short periods of recreational swimming and showering, but no diving or snorkeling.
- 2 Year International Warranty
Two complications, one clear identity
The watch combines a chronograph with a power-reserve indicator, alongside the standard hours, minutes and seconds. The power-reserve display adds a practical piece of information about the movement’s remaining running time; it is not a second timing function. The available model records do not specify the chronograph layout or movement caliber, so those details should be verified against the individual watch and its documentation.
How to interpret the power-reserve figure
A 2010 WorldTempus report on a Nazca G Power Reserve variant states 42 hours of autonomy. That is a reported figure for the variant discussed in that article, not a confirmed universal specification for every Nazca G Power Reserve reference or for the archived 4450.MS0.R1.PR.14.00. The GPHG and WorldTempus model records cited above do not identify an exact caliber. A separate iWatcHome listing describes a Valjoux automatic movement, but does not establish a precise caliber for the archived reference; that description should not be treated as a confirmed caliber identification. iWatcHome listing

The historical record makes the model identifiable, but it does not establish whether one is currently for sale or what a surviving example is worth. For any listing, match the reference and assess the specific watch rather than relying on the original edition or archive price.
