The STERNGLAS Asthet automatic watch was a Bauhaus-inspired Kickstarter project that ran from January 21 to February 11, 2021. It raised €338,630 against a €30,000 goal, with 1,249 backers. The campaign is long over; its advertised €299 price was historical campaign copy, not a current offer.
What was the STERNGLAS Asthet Kickstarter?
Creator Dustin Fontaine launched the Hamburg-based project as “STERNGLAS Asthet — The ultra-slim Bauhaus automatic watch.” Kickstarter categorized it as Product Design. The campaign described the watch as a classic Bauhaus-inspired mechanical watch and promoted it with the line: “A classic Bauhaus-inspired mechanical watch for only 299€. Domed sapphire glass, ultra-slim design and a high-quality movement.” That was campaign-era promotional wording; it does not establish a current price or independently assess the movement’s quality. How successful was the campaign?

Later official product information provides detailed specifications for the Asthet Edition Lumare, model S02-ASL06-PR07. These details apply to that named edition; they should not be assumed to describe every reward variant in the 2021 campaign.

Is the STERNGLAS Asthet still available?
The official listing for the Asthet Edition Lumare says it is sold out and will not return to STERNGLAS’s own store. The brand suggests some authorized specialist retailers may still have stock, but that does not confirm any retailer’s current inventory or establish availability of other campaign variants. The Lumare listing describes a quick-change strap system and a 20 mm lug width. Those specifications make a 20 mm strap a possible lead, not a guarantee of universal fit across Asthet variants.
