1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsThe WRK Timepieces ACF-02 keeps the brand’s openworked, mechanically expressive design language but changes the watch’s emphasis: it replaces the ACF-01’s hand-wound flying tourbillon and double-wishbone system with an automatic, time-only micro-rotor movement. Its defining updates are practical as well as visual: two parallel barrels, Grade 5 titanium movement components and a compact profile reported by reviewers. That is a refinement of the formula, not a claim that the ACF-02 surpasses its predecessor in every technical respect.
What the ACF-02 is
The ACF-02 displays central hours and minutes, with no running seconds or other indications, according to Fratello Watches’ 2025 hands-on account. It is partially openworked, so parts of the movement remain visible instead of being covered by a conventional full dial. The minute track is printed on the underside of the crystal. Fratello reports that the micro-rotor can be seen between 10 and 11 o’clock, with the twin barrels lower in the display.

This layout makes the movement part of the time display’s visual character, while keeping the information shown deliberately spare. The design connection to the ACF-01 is in that mechanical, exposed presentation; the ACF-02 pares back the complication and indications.
What changed from the ACF-01
| Feature | ACF-01 | ACF-02 |
|---|---|---|
| Movement and complication | Manually wound flying tourbillon with WRK’s patented double-wishbone system, as described on WRK’s homepage archive. | Automatic AMB-01/1 micro-rotor calibre; time-only display, according to WRK’s ACF-02 product page and Fratello’s 2025 account. |
| Winding | Manual winding. | Automatic winding via a bidirectional micro-rotor, according to WRK’s product page. |
| Display | Flying-tourbillon-focused design. | Central hours and minutes, no running seconds, and a minute track printed on the crystal, as reported by Fratello in 2025. |
| Reported dimensions | Not stated in the cited sources. | Fratello reported 38 mm wide, 41 mm long and 8.5 mm thick in 2025; The Time Production reported 38 × 41 × 7.95 mm on its 2026 review page. WRK’s product page does not state dimensions. |
The shift is best understood as a change in priorities. The ACF-01’s tourbillon and double-wishbone system give it a more complication-led identity; the ACF-02 concentrates on automatic winding, a time-only display and the visual presence of its movement. Fratello called it an evolution that “refines what already worked”; that is an editorial reading of the design, not independent proof that every component or performance measure is improved.

How the AMB-01/1 movement is specified
WRK identifies the movement as the AMB-01/1, engineered by Télôs. The official page describes a bidirectional micro-rotor and two parallel barrels, and says the barrels are intended to support consistent power delivery. WRK gives a maximum torque of 730 gr.mm and an approximate three-day, or 72-hour, power reserve.
- Automatic winding: the bidirectional micro-rotor winds the movement without manual winding during normal wear.
- Two parallel barrels: WRK presents their arrangement as a way to support consistent torque delivery.
- Beat rate: Fratello reported 4 Hz, or 28,800 vibrations per hour, in 2025.
- Reserve: WRK states approximately 72 hours. Fratello described 72 hours as the guaranteed reserve while noting possible total energy of about 80–84 hours. Those are different claims: the higher figure is potential energy, not the stated guaranteed running time.
These are published specifications and descriptions, not results of independent testing. No independent performance test is established by the cited sources.

WRK specifies Grade 5 titanium for the case, baseplate and bridges, with bead-blasted finishing. The use of titanium movement parts extends the material choice beyond the exterior case. WRK describes the watch as Swiss-manufactured and states on its official product page: “Each timepiece is hand-assembled and controlled by a single watchmaker.” These are the brand’s production claims, rather than independently verified manufacturing findings.
Case measurements are not listed on WRK’s product page. Fratello gives 38 mm wide, 41 mm long and 8.5 mm thick; The Time Production gives the same width and length but reports 7.95 mm thickness. The sources do not explain the discrepancy, which may reflect measurement method or a different production version. Treat thickness as unsettled if a precise fit matters.
Price, ordering and current availability
WRK’s product page says the ACF-02 is offered exclusively by souscription, with a process involving contact, a personal appointment, and manufacturing and delivery. It lists an expected delivery period of six months, but the three displayed configurations—DLC Silver, Titanium and DLC Black—are currently marked unavailable. The page invites prospective buyers to register interest; contact WRK directly to confirm whether an allocation or delivery slot is obtainable and whether the listed timing still applies.
Fratello reported CHF 18,924 excluding taxes and 12 pieces per configuration in 2025. Those are reporting-era terms, not a verified current price or confirmation that any allocation remains open. The available official page does not confirm that historical price, and the figure should not be treated as a current USD or EUR equivalent without current pricing and tax information.
Who the ACF-02 is for
The ACF-02 is most compelling for someone who wants WRK’s openworked, unconventional presentation in a simpler automatic watch, rather than the ACF-01’s tourbillon-led complication. Its central hours and minutes, visible micro-rotor and twin barrels make the movement the visual focus without adding further indications. Buyers who value the ACF-01 specifically for its flying tourbillon and double-wishbone system should see the ACF-02 as a different expression of the brand, not a direct technical replacement.
