The Tiffany & Co. Bird on a Flying Tourbillon is not a new 2026 launch: Tiffany dates the model’s introduction to 2024. Its 2025 Azure Blossom is a separately specified limited edition. The watch’s defining combination is Jean Schlumberger’s Bird on a Rock design language and, in Tiffany’s description, the brand’s first timepiece with a bespoke flying tourbillon movement.
What is the Bird on a Flying Tourbillon?
The watch translates Jean Schlumberger’s Bird on a Rock brooch motif into a high-jewelry timepiece. Tiffany says the original model was its first timepiece to feature a bespoke flying tourbillon movement, and that the limited series comprises 25 watches. Tiffany’s collection history dates the model’s introduction to 2024. The later Azure Blossom announcement, dated 10 April 2025, identifies a distinct edition rather than a new launch of the original model. How the original and Azure Blossom editions differ
The figures below come from different Tiffany descriptions and should not be combined as specifications for one watch. The original model’s official US education page gives its diamond count and series size; the Japan release supplies the Azure Blossom’s detailed case and movement specifications.

What makes the flying tourbillon notable?
A flying tourbillon is the movement feature Tiffany singles out as a first for its timepieces in this model. The original’s description establishes that it has a bespoke flying tourbillon, but does not provide a full caliber specification. The more detailed movement data available here belongs specifically to Azure Blossom: its hand-wound AFT24T01 is made to order by Ateliers deMonaco and has a 50-hour power reserve, 3 Hz frequency and 20 jewels.
