How does the design fit the Timex Archive collection?
Timex places the Navi Ocean in its Metropolis collection, which it describes as combining antiqued metal cases with smoked and colored lenses. The company says the collection draws inspiration from vintage military sunglasses and modern jet cockpit instrumentation. This is Timex’s account of the design intent, rather than an independently established history of the watch’s styling.
Timex describes its Archive project this way: “The Timex Archive project combines historical know-how with a refined design aesthetic, a true expression of values that Timex has passed on since 1854 to this day.” The product page does not identify an individual speaker.

Timex lists the TW2T83500 at 100 m water resistance and says it is suitable for swimming, snorkeling, poolside diving, and surfing. The company specifically says it is not suitable for scuba diving and advises against pressing buttons underwater to maintain water resistance. These are the manufacturer’s stated limits; the watch’s water resistance has not been independently tested here.
Availability and price
When checked, Timex’s UK product page displayed a price of £129 and marked the watch out of stock. That is a time-sensitive UK listing, not a guarantee of current availability or price in the UK or elsewhere. Check the manufacturer’s local listing or retailer stock before buying, and confirm that any listing is for model TW2T83500 rather than a different Navi variant.

What the listed specifications do—and do not—tell you
The manufacturer listing establishes the watch’s dimensions, materials, movement type, strap configuration, and stated water-resistance guidance. It does not establish how comfortable the watch feels on a particular wrist, how legible it is in different lighting, how well it keeps time over an extended period, or how the case, crystal, strap, and any luminous elements perform in everyday use. Those points require direct use or independent testing.
Timex lists a CR2016 battery but does not provide replacement instructions on the cited product page. The listing also does not validate third-party repair products or establish compatibility with replacement straps beyond the stated 18 mm band/lug width.
