Tissot’s current specifications identify the model, but do not establish that a particular watch was made or reviewed in 2022. This guide covers the exact reference and its documented specifications; it is not a hands-on test.
Which Le Locle Open Heart is this?
The title matches Tissot reference T006.407.22.033.02. Tissot’s US product page calls it the “Le Locle Open Heart 39.3mm,” while its Ukrainian page uses “Le Locle Powermatic 80 Open Heart.” The matching reference identifies the same two-tone, silver-dial configuration. Other watches listed as Le Locle Open Heart may differ, so check the reference rather than relying on the collection name alone. Tissot US product page Tissot Ukraine product page

Specifications and the US price are from Tissot’s US page for this reference. Tissot describes the dial opening as “open heart”; it reveals part of the movement, while the see-through caseback offers another view. The manufacturer says the 80-hour reserve lets the watch continue running for about three days when unworn. That is a stated capability, not a measurement of a particular watch.

How should you judge the size and style?
The 39.3 mm case diameter, 9.75 mm thickness and 19 mm lug width give useful comparison points when assessing dress-watch proportions or choosing a strap. Actual fit depends on the wearer and wrist; no on-wrist assessment is established here. The silver dial, Roman numerals and two-tone bracelet make this version visually distinct from Le Locle variants with other dials or finishes.
The open-heart cutout is a prominent design choice: it puts part of the movement in view rather than leaving the dial uninterrupted. The see-through caseback adds a second display of the movement. Whether that detail suits your taste is subjective, and the specifications alone do not establish finishing quality or legibility in person.

What do the movement and water-resistance figures mean?
Powermatic 80 and the stated reserve
Tissot specifies an automatic Powermatic 80 movement with up to 80 hours of power reserve and a Nivachron balance spring. The reserve describes how long the watch may run after being fully wound and then left unworn, under the manufacturer’s stated claim. It does not tell you how accurate a specific example is, how reliably it will perform over time, or what servicing will cost. No independent accuracy or long-term reliability results are established for this article.
3 bar is a manufacturer rating, not a swimming recommendation
Tissot lists water resistance as 3 bar (30 m / 100 ft). Treat that as the manufacturer’s rating, not proof that a particular watch’s seals have been tested or that the watch is suitable for swimming. Consult Tissot’s current user guidance for water-use advice; that guidance is not independently reviewed here.

Is this a good first Tissot or a good choice for you?
It may suit someone looking for a Swiss automatic with a traditional Roman-numeral dial, a visible movement feature and a two-tone bracelet. Its most practical documented advantages to compare are the compact set of published dimensions, the stated 80-hour reserve and the sapphire crystal. Those specifications do not settle personal fit, comfort, movement accuracy, clasp feel or long-term reliability; those aspects remain untested here.
Before buying, confirm the exact reference, the condition and the seller’s current regional terms. Tissot’s US page listed the watch at $1,050 with a two-year warranty when accessed in 2026; the current listing and applicable warranty should be checked directly. If considering a replacement strap, Tissot lists the bracelet under reference T605040880, and its regional page displays a compatible 19 mm strap listing. Verify end-link or strap compatibility and local availability for the specific watch before ordering.

What is not established about the 2022 “hands-on” claim?
The official product pages establish the model reference and its published specifications, but they do not prove that a particular unit dates from 2022. Nor do they provide evidence of hands-on testing. A dated receipt, warranty document or contemporaneous sale listing can help establish a unit’s year; claims about fit, finishing, accuracy, comfort or durability require direct experience or separate evidence.
