How to identify the 50th-anniversary Grendizer PRX
Tissot’s official name is Tissot PRX UFO Robot Grendizer 50th Anniversary 40mm. The reference is T137.407.33.051.01, also displayed by Tissot in SKU format as T1374073305101. The model belongs to the PRX Classic Contemporary collection. Tissot’s US product listing and PRX collection page identify the watch and its US listing details.
The edition is limited to 1,975 pieces, a number linked by Tissot to the year UFO Robot Grendizer was created. Each watch is individually numbered, and Tissot describes the caseback engraving as “Limited Edition 1 of 1975.” The brand’s 2025 pressroom announcement credits Go Nagai with creating the property in 1975.
What distinguishes this edition
The anniversary reference has a black PVD-coated steel case and bracelet, a sculpted Grendizer bust on the dial treated with Super-LumiNova, and an 18K gold Harken-style seconds hand. Tissot also describes an engraving concealed inside the bezel and an engraved rotor visible through the transparent caseback. The presentation capsule takes its inspiration from Grendizer’s Spazer craft. These details are described in Tissot’s campaign material and pressroom release.

Do not confuse it with the earlier blue-dial collaboration
Tissot also refers to an earlier PRX Grendizer edition released in 2024. The Swatch Group archive describes that version as a 40mm steel watch with a blue dial, luminous yellow robot bust, Harken-style seconds hand and engraved rotor. The black PVD finish and 50th-anniversary identity belong to reference T137.407.33.051.01, not that earlier blue-dial model. See the Swatch Group archive entry for the earlier design.

Specifications are from Tissot’s US product page. Warranty coverage and service eligibility can depend on the seller and market, so confirm them for the particular watch being offered. The listed bracelet reference does not by itself establish compatibility with other PRX bracelets.

US price and availability
At the time of checking on September 28, 2026, Tissot’s US product page listed the watch at $1,100, marked it sold out and said it would not be restocked. This is a US-page status and price, not evidence that the watch is unavailable worldwide or that $1,100 is a current price in other markets. Tissot describes availability through selected points of sale and online in selected markets; check the brand’s local site or an authorized retailer for regional stock.
A resale listing is a separate offer, not confirmation of official availability. Before buying one, verify the seller’s standing, the watch’s condition and reference, its serial details, whether the Spazer-inspired capsule and papers are included, and what warranty or service coverage applies. Tissot’s product information does not establish current third-party stock or resale value.

What to weigh before buying
- Confirm the exact edition. Match the reference T137.407.33.051.01 rather than relying on a listing title or Grendizer imagery alone.
- Compare the offer with the right benchmark. The $1,100 figure is Tissot’s listed US price, not a verified resale valuation or a price guaranteed in another market.
- Check condition and completeness. Ask about wear, service history, capsule, papers, serial/reference consistency and warranty terms.
- Choose by design, not just the character. The 50th-anniversary version is the black-coated model; the earlier collaboration documented by Swatch Group has a blue dial.
- Assess fit and use. Consider the 40mm case, 140g listed weight, 10 bar water-resistance rating, automatic movement and bracelet fit against your needs.
