In his July 2016 hands-on review, Felix Scholz praised its bezel detailing and textured silver-and-white dial. The design has clear team-fan appeal, but the available evidence does not establish current Quickster stock or pricing.
What the Quickster NBA team editions are
Tissot’s Quickster NBA team collection paired a shared chronograph design with details for individual teams. The 2016 review described a 42 mm quartz chronograph with a woven nylon strap in each team’s colors and a silk-printed team logo on the caseback. Tissot’s San Antonio Spurs reference, T0954171703707, likewise describes team colors on a NATO-style strap and the team logo on the caseback.
The team identity is therefore most evident in the strap and caseback, rather than a radically different watch for every team. The sources do not establish a definitive count of the collection: the review refers to the “top twelve NBA teams,” while Tissot’s product-page excerpt lists 11 teams.
Design and hands-on impressions
Felix Scholz’s review singled out the bezel detailing and the textured silver-and-white dial. Those are the reviewer’s aesthetic impressions, not measured performance findings. The combination gives the watch a sports-oriented look while keeping the team branding concentrated in the strap and the caseback logo.

The strap is described as woven nylon or NATO-style, depending on the source. For the cited Spurs reference, the listed lug width is 19 mm. That measurement applies to T0954171703707; check the exact reference before buying a replacement strap or assuming another team edition has the same fit.
Published specifications for the Spurs reference
Tissot’s regional product-page excerpt lists the following specifications for San Antonio Spurs reference T0954171703707. They should not be generalized to every Quickster NBA variant.

These figures come from Tissot’s page excerpt; the product page returned a gone error when opened. The excerpt does not identify the movement calibre or provide a complete list of chronograph functions, so those details cannot be confirmed here.
Historical price and current availability
Time+Tide’s July 2016 review listed the price as A$550 for all versions. That is historical Australian pricing, not a current US price or a guide to today’s resale value.

Tissot’s US NBA collection page lists newer NBA-themed designs, including Supersport models, but does not establish whether Quickster team editions are still produced or available from authorized sellers. Current inventory, condition, completeness, and seller authorization for any individual listing have not been established. Treat a second-hand listing as a separate purchase decision rather than evidence of current official availability.
How the Quickster fits Tissot’s NBA collaboration
The Quickster team editions belong to a continuing Tissot–NBA relationship. In November 2015, the Miami Heat announced a Tissot partnership and described a Quickster Miami Heat special edition with a chronograph, team-logo caseback, and team-color NATO strap.

On 23 January 2025, the NBA announced that Tissot, the NBA, WNBA, and NBA G League had extended their global marketing partnership. That announcement centered on a newer Supersport NBA Special Edition, with availability through Tissot boutiques in France and the US and online from 23 January, followed by a wider rollout from March. It documents the later collaboration, not continued availability of the older Quickster.

The Quickster NBA is most compelling for someone who wants a wearable team reference as much as a chronograph: its distinctive team details are the color-matched strap and printed caseback logo. Whether it is a better choice than a newer NBA-themed Tissot depends on the specific references and the buyer’s priorities; the available specifications do not support a universal winner.

For a used example, assess the particular watch rather than relying on the team name or collection description alone:

- Inspect the caseback logo, dial, bezel, and strap for wear, damage, or mismatched parts.
- Ask whether the watch is complete and whether its chronograph functions operate correctly; the cited materials do not establish a service history or test results.
- Verify the case dimensions, lug width, and water-resistance rating for that exact reference. A published rating is not proof that an older watch remains water-resistant.
