The Tissot Seastar 2000 Professional Powermatic 80 is a 46 mm automatic dive watch rated by Tissot to 600 m and listed as certified to ISO 6425 (2018). The specific US model covered here is reference T120.607.11.041.00, with a stainless-steel case and bracelet. At 16.25 mm thick, it is a substantial watch; its dimensions, water-resistance claims, movement and strap fit are the key points to weigh before buying.
Which Seastar 2000 is this?
Tissot’s US product page identifies the stainless-steel bracelet version as the Seastar 2000 46mm, reference T120.607.11.041.00. Check the reference on the listing or watch before comparing prices or ordering a strap: Seastar 2000 pages also cover other configurations, and their materials, straps and regional prices should not be assumed to match this reference.
Tissot’s US listing displayed a price of $1,275 and a two-year warranty when checked on 2026-10-08. This is a dated US listing, not a guaranteed current price or a figure for other regions or versions; check the listing and applicable warranty terms before purchase.
How large is it, and how might it wear?
| Specification | Tissot listing | What it means for fit |
|---|---|---|
| Case diameter | 46 mm | A large diameter by conventional dive-watch proportions; compare with a watch you already find comfortable. |
| Case thickness | 16.25 mm | A notably thick profile that may sit high under a cuff. |
| Lug width | 22 mm | Sets the nominal strap width; it does not by itself confirm that every 22 mm strap will attach correctly. |
| Case material | 316L stainless steel | The listed steel version is paired with a steel bracelet. |
The diameter and thickness make this a watch to choose for its presence, not a discreet alternative to a smaller diver. Wrist shape and personal preference affect fit, so the listed measurements are a useful screening check rather than a substitute for trying it on.

What do the 600 m rating and diver features mean?
Tissot specifies water resistance of 60 bar (600 m / 2,000 ft) and identifies the watch as a diver’s watch certified to ISO 6425 (2018). Swatch Group’s 2021 launch announcement also described 600 m resistance and ISO certification. These are manufacturer specifications, not a promise that any particular watch remains water-tight: condition, damage and overdue service can affect a used watch. Do not rely on the nominal rating without considering the watch’s actual condition.
The listed hardware includes a unidirectional rotating bezel, ceramic bezel insert, screw-down crown and screw-down caseback. Tissot also describes an automatic helium escape valve. These features establish the watch’s dive-oriented design; they do not replace inspection or maintenance of a specific example.

Swatch Group’s 2021 announcement provides launch-era context for the helium valve, ceramic bezel, Powermatic 80 movement and Nivachron balance spring.
What movement does it use?
Tissot lists a Swiss automatic movement with a date display, an 80-hour power reserve and a Nivachron balance spring. An 80-hour reserve means the watch can continue running for up to that stated reserve after being wound and then left unworn, subject to its operating condition; it is useful if you rotate watches and do not want to reset the date every day or two. Tissot’s listing does not provide an independent accuracy measurement, so the reserve should not be read as an accuracy guarantee.

Which strap fits the T120.607.11.041.00?
Tissot lists a 22 mm lug width and stainless-steel bracelet reference T605046894. The bracelet is described as quick-release and has a folding clasp with safety lock, diver extension and double push-buttons. Tissot also presents compatible straps on the product page.
Before ordering a replacement, match it to the exact watch reference and confirm the attachment style as well as the width. A strap marked 22 mm is not automatically compatible in every other respect. For Tissot-listed options, start with the compatibility information on the official product listing.

Who should consider this watch?
- Consider it if you want a large, substantial steel automatic diver, value the stated 600 m rating and ISO diver certification, and prefer an 80-hour power reserve.
- Think twice if you want a compact or thin daily watch, or if you cannot verify a used example’s condition and water resistance.
- Compare references carefully if another Seastar 2000 listing has a different strap, case material or regional price. Match the reference before treating specifications or costs as comparable.
