If your TOZO Watch 1 will not pair or a workout route is missing, first confirm the exact watch model and companion app, then check Bluetooth and the phone’s location permissions. TOZO’s app listing names Watch1 as compatible with TOZO Health for S3/S4/S6-10/W1, but TOZO’s separate W1 manual listing does not prove that W1 and Watch 1 are the same device. Use the watch’s own prompts rather than assuming instructions for another TOZO model apply.
1. Confirm the watch model and companion app
Check the model name printed on the watch, packaging, or its documentation. The App Store listing for TOZO Health for S3/S4/S6-10/W1 includes Watch1 among its compatible devices. TOZO’s guide index separately lists a W1 manual. The available documentation does not establish that Watch 1 and W1 are identical hardware, so do not treat W1 instructions as confirmed Watch 1 steps.

Also note the exact companion app installed on your phone. A troubleshooting step for a different TOZO app or watch model may not match the menus on your device.
2. Check Bluetooth pairing
- Turn on Bluetooth on your phone and keep the watch close by.
- Open the companion app you use with the watch and follow its add-device or pairing prompts. If the watch is not listed, close and reopen the app, toggle the phone’s Bluetooth off and back on, then try again.
- Follow any discovery or confirmation prompt shown on the watch. If it still will not appear, restart the phone and retry through the app.
These are general troubleshooting steps, not verified Watch 1 menu instructions. TOZO’s S1 manual, for example, instructs S1 owners to open TOZO Watch, choose Device > Add Device, select the watch, and synchronize the time after binding. Those directions are specifically for the S1; use the Watch 1’s own prompts instead.

3. Allow the companion app to use location
Phone location access is a sensible check when an app-based route is missing. Menu names and permission choices can vary by operating-system version, phone manufacturer, and app.
On Android
Open Settings > Location > App location permissions, select the companion app, and review its access. Google’s Android location-permission guidance also explains precise-location controls; the available choices depend on your Android version and device.

Open Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services, then select the companion app and review its access. Apple’s Location Services instructions describe the per-app controls; the options shown depend on the app and iOS.

“GPS not working” can mean different things: the watch does not pair, the app cannot access location, an activity has no saved route, or data has not synced. Check the companion app to see whether the activity appears at all. If it does, determine whether the missing item is the route or the entire activity before changing settings.

If the app offers an exercise-recording function, confirm that you are starting the activity through the intended flow and that location access is allowed. You can try a short outdoor activity and then check the app for the result. The available sources do not confirm Watch 1 workout controls, GPS architecture, or a model-specific route-repair procedure, so do not assume that the watch records routes independently of the phone.

Include the exact watch model, phone model and operating-system version, companion app name and version, whether pairing succeeds, and whether the missing data is a live location, saved route, or sync issue. Avoid model-specific factory-reset or firmware instructions unless you have the correct manual for your watch.
