TUDOR’s current 41 mm steel Black Bay Chrono is listed with two monochrome dial-and-bracelet combinations: the opaline dial with black counters comes on a 3-link rivet-style bracelet, while the black dial with silver counters comes on a 5-link bracelet. Both use TUDOR’s tool-free T-fit clasp. The official listings establish those pairings—not that every dial can be ordered with either bracelet in every market.
Which Black Bay Chrono comes with each bracelet?
| Reference | Dial | Listed bracelet |
|---|---|---|
| M79360N-0012 | Opaline with black counters | 3-link rivet-style steel bracelet with T-fit clasp |
| M79360N-0013 | Black with silver counters | 5-link steel bracelet with T-fit clasp |
These are the combinations shown on TUDOR’s product pages. The listings do not establish that both bracelet options are available with both dials, or that the same references and assortment are offered in every country. Check with a local retailer for current regional availability.

How the black and opaline dials differ
Opaline dial with black counters
The M79360N-0012 uses a light opaline dial, dark chronograph counters and a date at 6 o’clock. That contrast gives the subdials a clear visual separation from the dial. Its fixed steel bezel carries a matte black anodized aluminum tachymetric disc with silver markings. TUDOR’s listing identifies the dial as domed.
Black dial with silver counters
The M79360N-0013 reverses the tonal emphasis: a black dial with silver counters. The official listing pairs this darker dial with the 5-link bracelet. Choose between the two based on the contrast and overall look you prefer; the available specifications do not establish a measured legibility advantage for either version.

What changes between the 3-link and 5-link bracelets?
The 3-link bracelet has a rivet-style design. TUDOR says its appearance draws on the brand’s folding riveted bracelets from the 1950s and 1960s. The 5-link bracelet gives the watch a different visual treatment. Both are steel and both have the T-fit rapid-adjustment clasp; the distinction established by the listings is bracelet design, not clasp function. TUDOR’s Black Bay Chrono collection page describes T-fit as tool-free, with five positions and an 8 mm adjustment window.
Those adjustment positions let the wearer change the bracelet’s fit without a tool. The stated 8 mm is the clasp’s adjustment window, not a full bracelet-sizing range: sizing links may still need to be added or removed to fit the wrist.

Shared case and movement specifications
TUDOR lists the same principal dimensions and movement specifications for these two configurations. The figures below are manufacturer specifications, not independent measurements.
| Specification | Both listed configurations |
|---|---|
| Case diameter | 41 mm |
| Case thickness | 14.4 mm |
| Lug width | 22 mm |
| Water resistance | 200 m (660 ft), as rated by TUDOR |
| Movement | Manufacture Calibre MT5813, self-winding mechanical chronograph with bidirectional rotor; COSC-certified |
| Power reserve | Approximately 70 hours, as stated by TUDOR |
The 41 mm diameter, 14.4 mm thickness and 22 mm lug width are useful fit checks before visiting a retailer. Water resistance is a manufacturer rating; it does not determine whether a particular watch remains safe for water use if its seals are worn, damaged or overdue for service.
