How the horse theme appears on the watch
The most prominent horse motif is built into the non-linear power-reserve indicator. Oris says the indicator shows “a galloping horse when full and a resting horse when empty.” This is Oris product copy, not a quotation from a named designer or executive.
The second connection is the strap. Oris’s U.S. technical specifications list its material simply as “Leather.” Bandiera Jewellers’ listing for the exact reference describes it as cordovan leather, a horsehide. That retailer identification is more specific than Oris’s published specification; the strap is leather, not a textile woven from horsehair.

The unusual calendar display gives day, date, week and month indications alongside the time. The long reserve is designed to run for up to 10 days when fully wound, while the indicator communicates the remaining reserve through its changing horse depiction.

Regional prices and availability
Oris’s U.S. product page lists the watch at USD 8,000 and currently marks it unavailable online, with an option to request an alert. Oris’s Greece page lists EUR 6,650 and says it is not available online, directing shoppers to stores. These are region-specific page prices, not a guaranteed current transaction price; both price and stock can change. Check with a local Oris retailer for current availability.

Oris lists a two-year warranty and says free registration with MyOris extends coverage to five years. The same U.S. product page also lists a stainless-steel fitting bracelet. If considering a different strap or bracelet, confirm compatibility with Oris or an authorized retailer rather than assuming any 22 mm option will fit the case and its fittings.
