The second-generation TUDOR Northflag adds an integrated GMT function to the model’s distinctive integrated-bracelet design. Reference M9140G1A0U-0001 pairs a 40 mm steel case with Tudor’s MT5652-U movement, COSC and METAS certification, and a listed 65-hour power reserve. Tudor’s U.S. page gives a suggested retail price of $5,525 and says the watch is available exclusively at TUDOR Boutiques.

What is the Tudor Northflag GMT?
The M9140G1A0U-0001 is the second generation of TUDOR’s Northflag, now with an integrated GMT function. Tudor frames the design as carrying forward elements of the 1973 Ranger II, particularly the integrated-bracelet layout and black dial with large Arabic numerals. That is the manufacturer’s design history, rather than an independent assessment of the watches’ lineage.
The official U.S. product page describes a satin-brushed and polished stainless-steel case, a fixed steel bezel, and a black dial with a 24-hour graduated rehaut. The date sits at 3 o’clock; the hands and markers use Swiss Super-LumiNova. A domed sapphire crystal covers the dial, and the open case back also uses domed sapphire crystal.

These are manufacturer specifications, not results from independent measurement. The case back’s sapphire window exposes the movement; the bracelet’s integrated construction also means strap compatibility should not be assumed.
Movement and GMT function
Tudor names the movement as Manufacture Calibre MT5652-U: a self-winding mechanical calibre with a bidirectional rotor and integrated GMT function. The listed power reserve is 65 hours. Tudor’s product page identifies the GMT as integrated but does not specify the hand-setting procedure, so consult the manual or a boutique for the precise operation before relying on a particular time-zone workflow.

The 24-hour graduated rehaut provides the visible scale associated with the GMT display. The product information establishes the presence of the complication but does not describe a particular travel use case or independent performance test.
What COSC and METAS certification mean here
Tudor lists both COSC and METAS certification for the MT5652-U. Its product page says METAS certification covers precision, magnetic resistance, waterproofness, and power reserve. This is a manufacturer-reported certification; it should not be confused with testing conducted by an author or with a claim that this article independently verified the watch’s performance.
