Launch-era coverage describes a 40 mm case in red or white gold, a 96-hour power reserve and a numbered edition of 50. Those detailed accounts do not match a search-indexed excerpt tied to the supplied headline that describes a tourbillon, so the two specification sets should not be treated as the same watch without confirmation from the original page.
What the TULLOCH T-01 First Edition is
The T-01 First Edition is a mechanical wristwatch built around a regulator display. Rather than placing hours, minutes and seconds on one conventional set of hands, it assigns each indication its own position on the dial. Its asymmetrical, slightly tilted arrangement draws on historical regulator clocks and pocket watches while adapting the layout for the wrist.
Fratello’s October 7, 2020 review and Monochrome Watches’ November 28, 2019 launch report describe the same core First Edition design and specifications: Fratello’s TULLOCH T-01 review and Monochrome’s T-01 First Edition launch coverage.
How the regulator display works
The large central hand indicates minutes. A separate subdial indicates hours, and another tracks seconds. This separation makes minutes the dominant display, unlike a standard dial where the hour and minute hands share the center. The tilted, offset indications give the T-01 its distinctive appearance; a buyer should therefore consider whether this nontraditional reading arrangement suits everyday use.

These are construction and finishing details, not evidence of a tourbillon.
Who designed and developed the T-01
Founder Shane Tulloch worked with designer Eric Giroud and a team that included watchmaking engineer Christophe Beuchat, Kari Voutilainen and movement designer Stéphane Bépoix. In a 2020 interview, Tulloch said the prototypes were completed in late 2019 after more than three years of design, development and prototyping at a workshop in St-Sulpice, Val-de-Travers, Switzerland. He described the First Edition as introduced in 2020. Fratello’s interview records his account of that timeline: Interview with the founder of TULLOCH Watches.

Does the T-01 have a tourbillon?
The detailed Fratello and Monochrome accounts of the T-01 First Edition describe a hand-wound regulator movement with a 96-hour reserve; they do not identify it as a tourbillon. However, the supplied headline matches an A Blog to Watch page whose indexed excerpt, quoted in a forum result, describes a central three-minute flying tourbillon, caliber F47-001, a six-day reserve, 38 jewels and a steel plate derived from an AK-47. The original page could not be opened, and those claims conflict with the detailed First Edition specifications.
The available information does not establish whether that excerpt was misattributed, corrupted or referred to another watch. It is therefore not sound to attribute its tourbillon specifications to the documented T-01 First Edition. The conflict is visible in the forum result quoting the headline: Czwarty Wymiar forum.

What to verify before considering one
The launch-era sources establish the original configuration, but do not verify any present-day listing. If assessing a specific watch, confirm its identity and condition from the actual piece and its documentation rather than relying on an old launch description.
