However, the page still calls it a “pre-order,” and Ultrahuman’s earlier shipping dates changed. In practical terms, US sales have reopened, but buyers should verify the live dispatch estimate after choosing a size and finish.
Why the Ring PRO disappeared from the US
Ultrahuman originally announced Ring PRO on February 27, 2026, but excluded the United States from the launch. The interruption followed an October 2025 US International Trade Commission ruling in favor of Oura that blocked imports of new Ultrahuman ring inventory, according to TechCrunch’s report.

Ultrahuman says the redesigned Ring PRO received clearance from US Customs and Border Protection. The company opened US preorders on March 24, 2026. That means Ring PRO is no longer categorically barred from the American market, but clearance should not be confused with proof that every legal dispute between Ultrahuman and Oura has permanently ended.

- February 27: Ring PRO announced globally, with the US excluded.
- March 24: US preorders opened, with shipments initially expected from May 15.
- Later: Ultrahuman’s US product page displayed June 20.
- Latest official signal in the August 16, 2026 snapshot: “Shipping August 15th onwards.”
The latest date is the most useful current indication, but the “Pre-order” wording remains on the official page. If you need a ring immediately, do not assume that placing an order guarantees same-day or next-day dispatch. Select your size and color, then check the delivery estimate shown at checkout.
Ultrahuman’s official US buying page lists the following purchase details:
- Price: $479 for Ring PRO with the PRO Charging Case.
- Trade-in: Up to $115 in credit, subject to eligibility and current valuation.
- Sizing kit: Free when selected.
- Core ring data: No mandatory recurring subscription fee.
Taxes and any shipping charges may be added at checkout. Early US promotions reported in March—including a $349 offer for the first 1,000 customers and a separate $429 promotion—were launch-period deals, not the current listed price.

What comes in the US package?
The US product presentation describes a Ring PRO, a PRO Charging Case or PRO Charger depending on the displayed package language, and a USB Type-C cable. Because Ultrahuman’s regional pages have used different wording for the charger and case, confirm the exact contents shown on the US checkout page before paying.

The PRO Charging Case is central to the product’s battery proposition. Ultrahuman says the ring and case together can provide up to 45 days of combined battery life and that the case can support up to one year of ring-data storage under stated operating conditions.

These specifications come from Ultrahuman’s official comparison. Ring PRO is therefore more than a cosmetic refresh. Its practical upgrades are substantially longer battery life, much more local storage, a new processor, a redesigned PPG heart-rate system, and the charging case.
The trade-off is size. Ring PRO is thicker and heavier than Ring AIR, so the improved endurance comes at the expense of the AIR’s especially light feel. Ultrahuman’s “up to 15 days” battery claim also has a mode distinction: the company says Turbo Mode lasts approximately 12 days, while Chill Mode provides more than 15 days. Actual life will vary with settings, temperature, software features, and usage. These are manufacturer claims, not independent test results.

Ring PRO is designed to track sleep, recovery, movement, activity, stress, circadian patterns, temperature, heart rate, and motion. It uses temperature sensing, heart-rate sensing, and six-axis motion sensors. Ultrahuman also promotes Jade, its AI layer for interpreting health data.

The important distinction is between included ring features and optional software. Core Ring PRO access is intended to work without a recurring subscription, while optional PowerPlugs or specialized services may carry separate charges. Check the current US purchase flow rather than assuming every future feature is included permanently.
Marketing language such as “medical-grade,” AFib detection, or fertility-related accuracy may apply to a particular PowerPlug or partner technology—not automatically to Ring PRO as a diagnostic medical device. The available evidence does not establish independent performance for heart-rate accuracy, sleep stages, AFib detection, ovulation prediction, or Jade’s usefulness. Anyone seeking medical diagnosis or treatment should rely on appropriate clinical documentation and professional advice.
How the no-subscription model works
Ultrahuman says the core Ring PRO experience requires a one-time hardware purchase rather than a mandatory monthly membership. That is the main financial contrast with Oura, whose broader experience generally uses a membership model.

Sizing, fit, and charging
Ring PRO comes in sizes 5 through 14, with no half sizes. Ultrahuman says its sizing can differ slightly from standard US ring sizes and offers a free sizing kit. The company also says existing Ring AIR owners can use the same nominal Ultrahuman size.
That does not guarantee the same comfort. Ring PRO is thicker and heavier, and fingers change size with heat, exercise, sleep, and salt intake. Wear the sizing sample through different parts of the day before confirming the order. Consistent skin contact matters for sensor readings.
Ring PRO uses a different magnetic charging system from Ring AIR. Do not assume an AIR charging pad will work with the new ring.
Returns and warranty
Ultrahuman’s US terms state that returns received after 30 days may not be accepted. They also describe a 12-month limited warranty from delivery for defects in materials and workmanship. Normal wear, cosmetic damage, accidents, misuse, and certain third-party-component failures are excluded.

The Ring PRO product page’s “30-night trial” language appears to apply to Ring AIR, not necessarily Ring PRO. Do not treat that wording as a confirmed Ring PRO trial unless the current Ring PRO terms explicitly say so. The terms also state that a refund revokes UltrahumanX lifetime access linked to the ring.
What ProRelease Technology does
Ultrahuman says ProRelease Technology makes Ring PRO easier to cut apart if a finger swells or is injured. That is a safety-oriented design feature, not permission to cut the ring yourself. If a ring is stuck because of swelling or injury, seek urgent professional help.
Should you buy Ring PRO?
Ring PRO makes sense if you:
- Want to avoid a mandatory monthly subscription.
- Prioritize long battery life over the thinnest possible ring.
- Travel, camp, or dislike frequent charging.
- Want substantial on-device data storage.
- Already use Ultrahuman’s app or ecosystem.
- Can tolerate a staged rollout and verify delivery timing at checkout.
Waiting may be wiser if you:
- Need guaranteed immediate delivery.
- Want independent battery and accuracy testing first.
- Are concerned by changing shipping dates.
- Need a clearly documented Ring PRO trial period.
- Require clinically specific evidence for medical or fertility-related features.
Consider Oura if app maturity and ecosystem breadth matter most, RingConn if a subscription-free alternative and lower upfront cost are priorities, or Samsung Galaxy Ring if you already use Samsung Health. Current competitor prices and terms should be checked directly because they can change.
The bottom line: Ring PRO is genuinely orderable in the US again, but “available” still needs qualification. Ultrahuman’s US page lists $479 and shipping from August 15 onward while retaining preorder language. Its strongest case is long claimed battery life, extensive local storage, and no mandatory subscription—not proven superiority in health accuracy.
