What is the Ultramarine Albatros?
This review covers the Ultramarine Albatros 9021 Marine / Grey / Black. It is not the separate watch called Albatros made by Robot. Ultramarine’s product page identifies this reference as a no-date model powered by an Eterna Cal. 3902A. See Ultramarine’s Albatros 9021 listing.
Ultramarine’s brand history says it was founded in 2018, introduced the Morse in 2019 and the Albatros in 2021. The company identifies the Beluga, launched in 2023, as its first diver. Those are the brand’s own historical statements, not independent verification. Ultramarine’s brand history.
What are the Albatros’s specifications?

How does the case size translate to fit?
The listed dimensions give a more useful fit picture than diameter alone: the case measures 40 mm across, 48 mm from lug tip to lug tip, and 12 mm high. The 20 mm lug width is the distance between the lugs where the strap attaches. Whether it suits a particular wrist depends on wrist shape and personal preference; the published figures do not establish how it will wear on an individual.
Because the stated lug width is 20 mm, a 20 mm replacement or alternate strap is a plausible option to investigate. Width alone does not guarantee compatibility with a particular strap, buckle or case geometry, so check the dimensions of the actual strap and buckle before ordering.

What movement does it use?
Ultramarine lists an Eterna Cal. 3902A that can be wound automatically or by hand. The brand specifies 30 jewels, a rate of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz), and a 65-hour power reserve. The Albatros has no date display. These are manufacturer-published details; no independent timing, reserve or movement inspection is established here.
Is the Albatros suitable for swimming?
Ultramarine lists the Albatros at 100 m / 330 ft water resistance. That is the manufacturer’s rating, not evidence of an independent pressure test or a guarantee of performance for a particular activity. The available product details do not specify activity guidance or testing conditions, so do not infer a specific water-use recommendation from the number alone.
