The article spots a Panthère in the trailer for Showtime’s Super Pumped: The Battle for Uber, where Thurman plays Arianna Huffington. The author says they could not find a photograph of the real Huffington wearing one. The detail therefore supports a point about costume design: the watch was chosen to signal a character’s status. The article says Snook’s Succession character wears Panthère watches in yellow and white metal. This is fictional styling. It shows how a production used the watch to characterise a powerful figure, not that the actor owns or wears one.
Rihanna
The article describes a medium yellow-gold Panthère as a frequent choice in Rihanna’s collection. That is the publication’s report. It is not based on a dated inventory or a statement from Rihanna, so present it as the article’s account rather than a confirmed fact about her collection.

Is it really the “go-to power watch”?
The examples make a case for the Panthère’s associations with authority, polish and status. They do not show how common the watch is. The article offers no market-share figures, sales data or survey results, and the celebrity list is a selection chosen to make the point. A list of famous wearers shows that the watch has been visible in fashion and film. It does not show that it is the most-worn luxury watch among powerful people.
