Designed by Stephen Bliss, the watches pair Monopoly imagery and dark humor with a quartz chronograph platform. The two models—The Benjamin and The Godfather—were each announced in a limited edition of 500, with a Japanese launch price of ¥57,640 including tax.
What is the UNDONE x Monopoly MONEYMAN collection?
MONEYMAN is a collaboration between watchmaker UNDONE and Monopoly, announced by UNDONE Japan in 2021. The maker named Stephen Bliss as the artist behind its two designs and described him as an artist associated with Grand Theft Auto. That characterization comes from UNDONE’s announcement; it is not a direct quote from Bliss.
The launch release presented both watches as limited editions of 500 pieces. It also said each came with a presentation case and commemorative Monopoly banknote, and that casebacks used one of five Chance- or Community Chest-themed parody designs. These are launch-announcement details, not confirmation of what accompanies a particular secondhand watch today.
How do The Benjamin and The Godfather differ?
| Model | Design | Edition announced |
|---|---|---|
| The Benjamin | Banknote-inspired styling, including US $100-note imagery and a reference to Monopoly’s US patent number on the dial. | 500 pieces (UNDONE Japan, 2021) |
| The Godfather | Darker colors with Monopoly-red accents. UNDONE said cash from Mr. Monopoly’s cannons appears in the subdials from certain viewing angles. | 500 pieces (UNDONE Japan, 2021) |
The design descriptions are the manufacturer’s launch copy. The two models share the same published movement, case dimensions, water-resistance rating, launch price, and edition size; the main distinction in the announcement is their visual treatment.

What did the watches cost, and are they available now?
UNDONE Japan’s ¥57,640 including-tax price is the original Japanese launch price for each model, not a current resale valuation. Ante Shop’s product page for The Godfather displayed a price of $699 and marked its listing “Sold out” when referenced. That is one retailer’s page, not evidence of a universal market price or availability across other sellers.
The current visible UNDONE catalog and homepage do not surface the Monopoly watches in the catalog text reviewed, but that alone does not prove the collection is discontinued or unavailable through every channel. The available sources do not establish current Amazon inventory. If searching for a listing, use the exact model names “The Benjamin” or “The Godfather” and check the seller, condition, included accessories, and live stock status.
