The URWERK UR-112 Aggregat Odyssee is a limited-edition mechanical watch whose defining feature is a digital time display built around rotating satellite prisms. URWERK lists a 42 × 51 × 16 mm titanium-and-steel case, automatic UR-13.01 movement and 48-hour power reserve. Its published CHF 250,000 price was the 2022 launch price, excluding tax—not a confirmed current quote.
What the UR-112 Aggregat Odyssee is
The Odyssee is a version of URWERK’s UR-112, part of the brand’s Special Projects line. Rather than its more familiar wandering-hour presentation, the UR-112 displays time digitally on satellite prisms. The result is a watch organized around a mechanical display architecture rather than a conventional dial and hands.
URWERK designer Martin Frei describes the inspiration as coming from memories, smells and experiences during travel, found by “subtle touch.” URWERK’s UR-112 page attributes that statement to Frei.
How the display works
The main time display uses aluminum satellite prisms: the jumping digital hour appears alongside trailing digital minutes, which advance in five-minute increments. The official Odyssee model information also specifies digital seconds and a power-reserve indicator. A hinged hood, described in Monochrome’s review, opens via pushers to reveal the seconds and reserve displays.

URWERK’s model information describes a titanium cardan shaft and silicon seconds wheel as part of the mechanism. This is a deliberately elaborate way to make time legible digitally; its appeal is as much the visible mechanical presentation as the information it communicates.

These are maker and retailer specifications, not measurements from an independent test. The stated 3 ATM / 30 m rating is modest; the available specifications do not position the Odyssee as a dive watch.

Case, materials and wearability
At 42 mm wide, 51 mm long and 16 mm thick, the case has substantial dimensions, particularly its length and height. Those figures help set expectations for how prominently it will sit on the wrist. URWERK identifies titanium and steel for the Odyssee; The Hour Glass specifies Grade 5 titanium and polished steel. The crystal is sapphire, with the retailer specifying anti-reflective treatment.
The Hour Glass lists a fabric strap and pin buckle. Monochrome’s 2022 review gives a more specific description: padded black textile with a leather lining. Neither source establishes that every example or current listing uses an identical strap configuration.

Price and availability
URWERK’s 2022 model-specific published information listed a launch price of CHF 250,000 excluding tax. That is historical launch pricing, not a verified present-day asking price. The Hour Glass currently displays “Price on request” and an enquiry option; that indicates a route to ask, not confirmed stock or a completed sale.
URWERK calls the Odyssee a limited edition, but its official published information does not state a production number. Monochrome’s 2022 review describes roughly five examples as an unofficial estimate, not an official count. Monochrome’s review is the source for that attributed estimate.

Its documented specifications establish the scale, movement and functions, while the 2022 CHF launch price and present retailer enquiry listing should not be mistaken for a live price or proof of availability.
