Random freezes, missing sound and display glitches usually trace back to one bad driver. Find and replace yours safely.Free scan · under a minuteNeither is an automatic winner: the Vacheron Constantin Overseas Perpetual Calendar Ultra-Thin 4300V/220G-B945 is slightly larger but thinner, has the higher published water-resistance rating, and offers documented interchangeable strap options. The Patek Philippe Nautilus Perpetual Calendar 5740/1G-001 is smaller across, has a different calendar display, and its current U.S. product page lists a price of $178,045. Those figures describe specific white-gold references; the right choice depends on fit, design, strap preference, and local price and availability.
At a glance: two specific white-gold references
Both watches pair an integrated-bracelet sports-watch design with an automatic perpetual calendar and moon phase. The comparison below uses the Vacheron Constantin 4300V/220G-B945 and the Patek Philippe 5740/1G-001—not every material or dial version in either broader collection.

1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsHow the cases compare on the wrist
The Overseas measures 41.5 mm across, compared with 40 mm for the Nautilus, while the Nautilus is 0.32 mm thicker according to current brand specifications. That makes the Vacheron the larger-diameter but thinner watch on paper. Case dimensions alone do not establish which will feel better: wrist shape, bracelet fit, and the way each case and bezel meets the wrist matter, and the cited sources do not report comparative wear testing.
#1 Best Overall
- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Both are white-gold references, but their case and dial designs express their respective sports-watch identities differently. Try the exact references if fit and visual presence are decisive; the specifications cannot substitute for a wrist-on comparison.
Calendar displays and movement details
Overseas: calibre 1120 QP
Vacheron Constantin lists an automatic calibre 1120 QP, a 40-hour power reserve, and indications for day, month, leap year and moon phase. The brand says the perpetual calendar will display the correct date until 2100. This describes the calendar’s handling of the secular-year exception; it is not a promise that the watch will need no maintenance or adjustment.

Nautilus: calibre 240 Q
Patek Philippe lists an automatic calibre 240 Q with a 38–48-hour power reserve. Its displayed calendar information includes day, date, month, leap year, a 24-hour indication and moon phase. The broader indication list may matter if you prefer those details visible on the dial, but the available specifications do not establish that one movement is more accurate or reliable in everyday use.
Water resistance: use the current specifications
The current Vacheron product page rates the cited Overseas at 5 bar / 50 m; Patek Philippe’s current Nautilus product page lists 30 m. These are manufacturer ratings, not independent tests, and should not be read as a guarantee of suitability for every water activity.

There is an important historical discrepancy for the Nautilus. Patek Philippe’s 2018 launch release stated a case height of 8.32 mm and water resistance of 60 m, while its current product page gives 8.42 mm and 30 m. For a present-day comparison, the current page is the relevant reference; the launch figures are historical specifications, not values to combine with the current ones. See the 2018 launch release.
Bracelet and strap flexibility
Vacheron Constantin’s official catalogue describes a white-gold bracelet, leather strap and rubber strap as interchangeable options for the Overseas family/reference. That gives the cited watch a documented route to changing its look and wearing configuration. The Patek product page shows the 5740/1G-001 on a white-gold bracelet; the cited material does not establish an equivalent interchangeable-strap offering for this reference. Confirm the included components and compatibility for the exact watch being offered before purchase.

Price and availability depend on your market
Patek Philippe’s U.S. product page displayed $178,045 when accessed in 2026. It is a volatile, market-specific displayed price, not a universal price or a direct comparison with the Vacheron. Vacheron’s regional official pages use differing price presentations, and the cited material does not establish a directly comparable current price for the 4300V/220G-B945. Compare the exact reference in the same country, with the same tax basis, and verify current pricing with the brands or authorized retailers.
No confirmed stock or waitlist information is established here. Availability can change, so check with an authorized retailer in your location rather than treating a product page as proof that a particular watch is ready to buy.

Which one should you choose?
- Consider the Overseas if you prefer the larger diameter and thinner stated profile, value the higher current published water-resistance rating, or want the documented bracelet, leather and rubber options.
- Consider the Nautilus if its 40 mm case and dial design suit you better, or if you prefer its listed date and 24-hour indications.
- Compare them in person if comfort, case presence or bracelet fit will decide the purchase; the published dimensions cannot prove how either will wear on your wrist.
- Check local terms before deciding if price or availability is central. The U.S. Patek display price and the absence of a comparable Vacheron figure do not settle the cost comparison elsewhere.
The official specifications do not establish comparative accuracy in use, servicing costs, long-term reliability, resale performance or waiting times. Treat those as separate questions to verify rather than infer from the complication or brand name.
