The Vacheron Constantin Patrimony Manual-Winding is a slim, time-only dress watch introduced in 2024 in two 39 mm precious-metal versions. The white-gold reference 1410U/000G-H017 pairs an old-silver-toned dial with an olive-green alligator strap; its pink-gold sibling, 1410U/000R-H018, has a light-blue strap. Both use the hand-wound Calibre 1440 and measure 7.72 mm thick. They are not 2026 launches: Fratello reported the pair on April 11, 2024.

What is the 39 mm Patrimony Manual-Winding?

It is a pared-back, hours-and-minutes dress watch with a small-seconds-free dial and a manually wound movement. The model most directly associated with this title is the white-gold 1410U/000G-H017, also identified by Vacheron Constantin as X14GH017. The company describes its design as “The purity of style and the quest for essentials of this 18K white gold watch makes it a timeless design.”

Fratello’s April 11, 2024 coverage placed the two 39 mm manual-winding watches among three new Patrimony models. That dated report makes “new” a 2024 launch description, not a claim that the watches were introduced in 2026.

For both case dimensions and water resistance, Vacheron Constantin’s current product pages are the source; the values above are not wrist-fit recommendations. The meaningful visual choice is the warmer pink-gold case and blue strap versus the cooler white-gold case and green strap. The retailer-listed prices are regional snapshots, not a like-for-like comparison.

What does the dial and case offer?

The white-gold version’s dial is old-silver-toned, with sunburst satin finishing and a convex outer zone. Forty-eight polished 18K gold pearls make up its minute track; the baton-style hands and applied hour markers are also 18K gold. These details add texture and definition without changing the watch’s time-only layout.

The case is 39 mm across and 7.72 mm thick, according to Vacheron Constantin’s product page accessed in 2026. Its solid back keeps the movement out of view when the watch is worn; the page also lists Hallmark of Geneva certification and Swiss origin.

What is inside the watch?

Both variants use Vacheron Constantin Calibre 1440, a manual-winding movement with a 42-hour power reserve. The manufacturer lists hours, minutes and a balance-stop function, a diameter of 22.1 mm, a thickness of 2.6 mm, 116 parts, 19 jewels and a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz). Because the watch has a solid caseback, those components cannot be seen through the back.

Is it practical for daily wear?

Its 7.72 mm profile is slim, but daily practicality depends on more than thickness. The case is made from precious metal, the supplied strap is leather, and the official water-resistance rating is 3 bar (30 m). That rating is the maker’s stated limit; it is not a basis for assuming suitability for swimming, diving or other water exposure beyond the manufacturer’s guidance.

Case diameter alone cannot establish how a watch will fit a particular wrist. The available specifications do not provide a reliable fit assessment for this exact reference, so trying it on is more useful than treating 39 mm as a universal wrist-size match.

What should you know before changing the strap?

Vacheron Constantin’s product page presents compatible strap choices. Watches of Switzerland Australia lists the strap size as 20/18 mm, but confirm that measurement with the manufacturer or retailer for the exact reference before ordering. The available information does not establish that generic straps will fit correctly.

  • Confirm the lug width and buckle width rather than assuming the retailer’s reported size applies to every replacement.
  • Check the strap’s end shape and curvature against the case, as well as spring-bar placement.
  • Establish whether you intend to reuse the original precious-metal buckle; the replacement strap must suit it.

What does it cost?

Vacheron Constantin’s US product page displayed $28,900 excluding tax when accessed in 2026. This is a US-specific listing that may change; it should not be read as a global price or a guaranteed enduring MSRP. Watches of Switzerland Australia displayed $44,500 AUD including GST for its listing accessed in 2026. The currencies, tax bases and sellers differ, so these figures are not directly comparable.

Fratello’s April 2024 launch coverage said prices were on request and offered an estimate by comparison with an older 40 mm model. That was contemporaneous commentary, not an official confirmed price. The captured official product page for the pink-gold reference did not state a price.
