Vacheron Constantin’s 2025 anniversary Openface release is a trio of distinct Traditionnelle watches, not one model offered with three dial options. The editions pair the Maison’s openworked-dial treatment with a complete calendar, a perpetual calendar with retrograde date, or a tourbillon with retrograde date. Each is listed as 127 individually numbered pieces in the 2025–26 catalogue.
What “Openface” means on these Traditionnelle watches
Vacheron Constantin describes its Openface approach as revealing the movement while retaining a strong dial structure and preserving the movement’s architecture. The Maison distinguishes this from skeletonisation, which aims to minimise material. The three watches use openworked dials with a hand-guilloché pattern inspired by the Maltese cross, which Vacheron Constantin says has been its emblem since 1880. Vacheron Constantin’s Openface collection page presents these as the Maison’s design and history descriptions.
Through the sapphire caseback, the movements show “côte unique,” a finish the Maison describes as a traditional technique more than a century old. Vacheron Constantin says it rediscovered the finish in 2021 while researching the Historiques American 1921. Its account says the bridges are treated with a particular abrasive paper in two strokes, producing a continuous line across them. These origins and finishing details are the Maison’s own claims.
Compare the three editions
The catalogue gives the clearest practical distinction: each edition has a different complication and calibre. The Complete Calendar is the smaller of the three at 39.5 mm and has the longest stated power reserve. The two retrograde-date models measure 41 mm.

Figures and specifications in the table are from Vacheron Constantin’s 2025–26 catalogue; power reserve is stated as “about” 72 hours for the Complete Calendar and “about” 40 hours for the Perpetual Calendar. The Tourbillon entry states 40 hours. Check the relevant regional product page for configuration details, since regional pages may vary.
How the complications differ
Complete Calendar: 6010T/000R-B638
This edition displays a complete calendar. Its 39.5 mm case is smaller than the 41 mm cases of the other two models, and its catalogue-listed reserve is about 72 hours. Its name does not identify it as a perpetual calendar, so it should not be confused with the more complex calendar display in the 4300T.

Perpetual Calendar Retrograde Date: 4300T/000R-B642
This model combines a perpetual calendar with a retrograde date display. The date hand follows an arc and returns to its starting point before beginning again. Vacheron Constantin describes the movement of the hand as “snapping back” after its arc on the official Openface page. The Maison’s archives, as reported by the company, date its first retrograde-date wristwatch to 1940.
Tourbillon Retrograde Date: 4020T/000R-B654
This edition pairs a tourbillon with a retrograde date display. It uses the 2460 QCL/270 calibre and has a stated 40-hour power reserve. The shared retrograde-date motion is a display mechanism; it does not make this watch the same calendar complication as the Perpetual Calendar Retrograde Date.

Edition size, price and availability
Vacheron Constantin’s 2025–26 catalogue lists 127 individually numbered watches for each of the three editions. That confirms limited production quantities, but it does not establish present-day stock or availability in any country. The cited catalogue and model pages do not establish a current retail price either.
