What does the watch do?
Tourbillon and time display
The watch displays hours and minutes, with the small seconds shown on the tourbillon carriage. On the pink-gold dial, the tourbillon sits at 12 o’clock, the 45-minute counter at 3 o’clock and the power-reserve indicator at 6 o’clock. A railway minute track and tachymeter scale complete the dial layout.

Single-pusher chronograph
The pink-gold model’s chronograph is operated by a single pusher and totalizes elapsed time up to 45 minutes. That is the maximum counter range stated by the manufacturer; it is not a claim that the watch records longer durations. Vacheron Constantin describes the pink-gold model as combining “the power of the single-push chronograph movement and the sophistication of the tourbillon.”
Movement and reserve
Both listed movements have 292 components, 39 jewels, a 32.8 mm diameter and a 6.7 mm thickness. The stated frequency is 18,000 vibrations per hour (2.5 Hz), and the stated power reserve is 65 hours. The platinum page identifies the movement as calibre 3200/260, while the gold page names calibre 3200; the suffix difference alone does not establish a difference in performance.

How do the gold and platinum versions differ?
The choice is primarily one of material, appearance and edition status, not documented case size or headline functions. Both measure 42.5 mm across and 11.7 mm thick, and both share the stated reserve, 45-minute chronograph capacity and 3-bar rating.
- Choose the pink-gold reference if you prefer the warm 18K 5N case, silver-toned opaline dial and brown alligator strap. Its triple-folding clasp is also 18K pink gold.
- Consider the platinum edition if you prefer the cooler 950 platinum case and sand-blasted platinum dial, with a dark-blue alligator strap stitched using braided silk and platinum thread. Vacheron Constantin states that this edition is limited to 50 pieces.
- Check the exact reference when enquiring. The two suffixes identify different materials and finishes; do not treat the platinum edition’s 50-piece limit as applying to the pink-gold model.
The manufacturer’s platinum description also specifies platinum elements in the clasp and strap stitching. The gold and platinum product pages both list the Hallmark of Geneva. Vacheron Constantin associates the hallmark with provenance, craftsmanship and reliability; that brand description should not be mistaken for a separate quantified accuracy guarantee.

What are the case dimensions and water-resistance limits?
Both versions are listed at 42.5 mm in diameter and 11.7 mm thick. The published water-resistance rating is 3 bar (30 m). That rating is not a recommendation for swimming or diving. The gold model also has a transparent sapphire caseback, allowing a view of its movement.
