The Venezianico Arsenale Platino and Arsenale Avventurina share a 40 mm steel-case format, but differ in dial material, movement and listed price. Platino pairs a platinum-galvanic-treated metal dial with a Swiss Made V3250 movement; Avventurina uses aventurine glass and a Miyota 9039. This is a comparison of Venezianico’s published specifications, not a firsthand review: real-world accuracy, comfort, finishing, lume and water resistance have not been independently tested here.

What separates the two dials?
Platino: platinum-galvanic-treated metal
Venezianico describes Platino’s dial as having a platinum galvanic treatment and a tumbled finish. The name refers to the dial treatment, not the case material: the case is specified as 316L stainless steel, not solid platinum. The published description establishes the treatment and finish, but does not establish how the dial looks in person.
Avventurina: aventurine glass
Avventurina uses aventurine glass for its dial. That material is the principal distinction from Platino’s treated metal dial; neither specification alone can tell you which dial you will prefer when viewed on the wrist. If appearance is decisive, compare the models in person or review reliable images taken under varied lighting rather than assuming the material name guarantees a particular effect.

Movement and stated performance
Platino’s V3250
Venezianico identifies the V3250 as Swiss Made and based on the Soprod M100. The manufacturer lists a 42-hour power reserve, 4 Hz frequency, Incabloc shock protection and accuracy of −4/+6 seconds per day. Treat the accuracy range as a published specification, not a result independently verified on a particular watch.
Avventurina’s Miyota 9039
The Avventurina product page specifies a Miyota 9039 automatic movement. It does not provide a power-reserve figure or an accuracy range in the cited listing, so those values should not be inferred or compared as if they were stated there.

Case dimensions, crystal and water resistance
Both official product listings give a 40 mm case diameter, 44 mm lug-to-lug measurement and 9.95 mm thickness. Platino’s stated thickness explicitly includes the crystal; the Avventurina listing specifies the same thickness but does not attach that qualification. Venezianico lists sapphire crystals with anti-reflective coating and BGW9 Super-LumiNova for both.
The cited Avventurina listing states 5 ATM water resistance. The cited Platino US page does not state a water-resistance rating, so there is no supported basis here for assuming the two models have equal protection. Check the current reference-specific product information and follow Venezianico’s guidance before exposing either watch to water.

Price and accessory details
On Venezianico’s US Arsenale collection at search time, Platino was listed at $1,650 and Avventurina at $885—a $765 difference between those displayed prices. These are US store listings, not prices guaranteed in other regions or final checkout totals. Prices, availability and terms can change.
Venezianico’s Avventurina page describes an optional Canova Concept bracelet for that model. The listing does not establish compatibility with Platino; confirm fitment with Venezianico before considering the bracelet for another reference.

Which one makes more sense for you?
- Choose Platino if you prefer its platinum-galvanic-treated metal dial and value the published V3250 specifications, including the stated reserve and accuracy range.
- Choose Avventurina if aventurine glass is the dial material you want, the Miyota 9039 suits your preference, or its lower US listed price is more appealing.
- Compare before buying if water use is important, you need the Platino’s water-resistance rating, or you want to know whether the Canova Concept bracelet fits a different reference. Those points are not established by the cited listings.
Venezianico says the Arsenale bezel’s “knurled motif [is] inspired by the crenellations of the towers at the historic Venetian shipyard.” That design reference is shared context for the line; it does not substitute for assessing either watch’s finish or feel in person.
