What the water-resistance rating does—and does not—establish
For reference 3121551, Venezianico states water resistance of 20 atmospheres, equivalent on the listing to 200 m or 656 ft. The brand also describes the watch as “engineered to endure strong stresses, making it particularly well-suited to water sports enthusiasts.” That is vendor wording, not independent verification. The available product information does not establish independent water-resistance testing, a certification or dive-use testing. Does the 39 mm version look like the right choice?
The 39 mm case and 45.5 mm lug-to-lug measurement provide useful dimensions for comparison, but numbers alone cannot settle fit or comfort. The 42 mm model is wider and has a 49 mm lug-to-lug length; it also uses a different movement and includes a date display. The Nera keeps a 39 mm case but changes to a black aventurine dial, a different movement and a bracelet. Try to assess the specific reference on your wrist if fit is a deciding factor; no firsthand wear assessment is available here.
