What is the Redentore Utopia II?
Venezianico presents the Redentore Utopia II as a development of its original Utopia, refining both the movement and dial. The brand describes the dial guilloché as hand-engraved by Riccardo Renzetti on an 1850 rose engine, with a pattern inspired by water and the Venetian lagoon. That inspiration is the brand’s account of the design.

The official pages describe these as limited editions. Their shared case and movement specifications are the same; the stated distinction between the two versions is dial tone.

What movement is in the Utopia II?
Both variants use Venezianico’s V5001, which the company identifies as manufactured by OISA in Italy and designed by Fausto Berizzi and Andrea Menegazzo. The brand says each V5001-equipped watch is personally assembled at its Italian atelier by watchmaker Daniele Zorzetto.

These are manufacturer-published specifications, not results from an independent timing test. Venezianico describes the V5001 as developed from the V5000 while retaining its architecture and performance, with more elaborate finishing and 24k gold galvanic treatment on the bridges and mainplate.

Architecture and components
The brand specifies a free-sprung balance with four masselottes, a copper-beryllium balance wheel made by Atokalpa, and KIF Elastor shock protection. It also describes a split gear train that separates the seconds branch from the hours-and-minutes branch. Claims about improved stability or accuracy should be understood as the manufacturer’s descriptions; independent comparative testing is not established here.

As of October 8, 2026, Venezianico’s US pages for both Alpha and Beta display a sold-out status. Each page showed a $5,500 sale price at that time, but a displayed price on a sold-out listing does not establish that the watch can be purchased at that price.
