What is the VERO Meridian Manual Wind?
It is a family of manually wound mechanical watches from VERO Watch Company, with four listed variants: Meridian Manual Wind Rally, Meridian Manual Wind Rambler, Meridian Portland Classic and Meridian Portland Sport. The names matter: details such as dial design and lume are not identical across the family.
VERO describes the Portland models as drawing on the California-dial tradition and the Original series as a redesign of the Rally and Rambler. That makes this less a single watch with interchangeable colors than a set of related designs; confirm the precise variant before relying on a particular dial or illumination feature.
Movement, winding and stated accuracy
VERO names a Sellita SW-210-01 mechanical movement. The company says it is decorated with black rhodium plating, heat-treated blued screws and snail-finished gears, and that a full wind provides a 42-hour power reserve. As a manual-wind watch, it requires the wearer to wind it rather than relying on wrist motion to keep the mainspring charged.

VERO says its Portland, Oregon shop assembles and regulates the watches, and that the movement is regulated in six positions to +/-5 seconds per day. This is the manufacturer’s specification; no independent timing results were available to establish how a particular watch performs in daily wear. Buyers who need a verified accuracy figure should treat the quoted rate as a target or maker claim, not a guarantee of real-world timekeeping.
Rally dimensions and fit
For the Rally, VERO lists a 38 mm case width, 9.4 mm case height, 44.5 mm lug-to-lug length and 18 mm inner lug width. The lug-to-lug measurement is particularly useful when assessing whether the watch will sit within the width of a wrist; case diameter alone does not tell the whole fit story. An 18 mm inner lug width is also the relevant measurement when checking strap compatibility.

These dimensions are for the Rally, not a confirmed measurement set for every Meridian variant. VERO’s product page also describes a 316L stainless-steel case and components, a flat sapphire crystal with dual-sided anti-reflective coating and an exhibition caseback.
Water resistance, lume and daily-use features
Water resistance
VERO states water resistance of 100 m/328 ft for the Rally. That is a manufacturer rating; no independent pressure test or practical water-use test was available. The rating should not be treated as independent evidence of performance or as a reason to ignore the maker’s care guidance.

Lume varies by model
VERO’s collection page says Meridian hands and dial-dot indices use Swiss Super-LumiNova and can glow for up to 15 hours after a full UV charge. However, the Portland Classic product page explicitly says its dial and hands have no lume. The collection-level statement therefore should not be applied to every watch in the family: check the exact model’s product details if nighttime legibility matters.
Bracelet and included strap
VERO says the watch comes with an articulated steel bracelet and a leather strap. The bracelet clasp has a push-button micro-adjustment feature with a stated half-inch adjustment range. That offers a way to fine-tune bracelet fit without changing links, although the stated range is the manufacturer’s description rather than an independently measured result.

Price, availability and warranty
On October 7, 2026, VERO’s official pages displayed $805 for the Rally and marked it sold out; the collection page also marked the Rambler, Portland Classic and Portland Sport sold out, with the Portland Classic displaying $805. This is a dated snapshot of the manufacturer’s pages, not a statement about future restocks, dealer stock or the secondhand market.
VERO’s Rally page states, “We offer a 10-year warranty against any damage,” and says the company continues service and support after ten years. Those are VERO’s descriptions of its offer. The pages reviewed do not establish exclusions, claim procedures, geographic limits or whether coverage transfers to a later owner, so read the current warranty terms before purchase.
