Verdict: Treat the Vital Health Ring as an unverified, high-risk budget wellness gadget—not as an established or clinically validated health device. Its sales pages advertise heart-rate, sleep, blood-oxygen, activity, stress, menstrual-cycle and sometimes blood-pressure features, but the available material does not identify a clear manufacturer, provide independent validation, or show an FDA authorization tied to this product.
It may appeal to shoppers looking for an inexpensive, screenless ring without a subscription. However, unclear product identity, multiple similarly branded sales domains, app confusion, inconsistent pricing and reports of pairing and refund problems make it difficult to recommend.

What is the Vital Health Ring?
The name does not point clearly to one established product or one authoritative U.S. manufacturer. Similar-looking sales pages appear on domains including vital-healthring.com, vitalhealthrings.com, vitalhealthringofficial.com, vitalhealthrings.co, us-vitalring.com and thevitalhealthring.com.
The available pages use overlapping marketing language, but they do not establish whether these sites represent one manufacturer, authorized distributors, affiliates or unrelated sellers. Before buying, a reader should be able to identify the legal business, return address, support channel, exact model number, companion app, warranty terms and privacy policy. Those details are not presented consistently enough here to inspire confidence.

One sales site also describes itself as an advertising marketplace and discloses that it receives payment for qualified referrals. That does not by itself prove wrongdoing, but it means the page should not be treated as independent product testing.
What does it claim to do?
| Advertised feature | What the evidence supports | Safe interpretation |
|---|---|---|
| Heart rate | Seller pages describe sensor-based monitoring, without a supplied validation study. | At most, treat results as unverified wellness estimates. |
| Sleep and sleep stages | Sleep, REM and related insights are advertised; no comparison with polysomnography is supplied. | Algorithmic estimates, not a sleep diagnosis. |
| Blood oxygen | SpO₂ is advertised, but no test protocol or performance statistics are provided. | Do not substitute it for a regulated pulse oximeter. |
| Steps, calories and activity | These features appear in the marketing material, with no independent accuracy test identified. | Useful only as potentially rough trends. |
| Stress and menstrual-cycle insights | These are advertised software interpretations. | Do not treat them as clinical measurements. |
| Battery, charging and water resistance | One page claims up to 10 days of battery life, a roughly 60-minute charge and swimming or shower use. | Verify the manual’s battery and IP/ATM rating before relying on them. |
| No subscription | Several sellers say no recurring subscription is required. | Check checkout and app terms for trials or automatic renewal. |
These are seller claims, not independently established specifications. “Advanced sensors,” “medical-grade” wording and a polished dashboard do not demonstrate medical accuracy.
Are the health measurements accurate?
The available sales material does not provide a named sensor manufacturer or part number, peer-reviewed study, sample size, comparison device, error statistics, confidence intervals or testing across different skin tones, temperatures, finger sizes, motion levels and circulation conditions.

A wearable can collect optical signals and turn them into numbers without those numbers being reliable enough for diagnosis or treatment. Heart-rate estimation is not the same as an ECG. Sleep-stage estimation is not the same as clinical sleep testing. An SpO₂ estimate is not automatically equivalent to a regulated pulse oximeter, and a stress score is an algorithmic interpretation rather than a medical test.
Even established smart-ring companies place limits on their products. Oura states that its ring is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, monitor or prevent medical conditions. The same caution is appropriate here, with the added concern that the Vital Health Ring’s manufacturer and evidence base are difficult to verify.

Does it measure blood pressure?
Some marketing for products using this name may imply blood-pressure capability. Do not rely on that claim unless the seller provides an authorization or clearance number that can be independently verified for the exact product and intended use.
In a September 16, 2025 safety communication, the FDA warned consumers not to use unauthorized smartwatches, smart rings or other wearables that claim to measure or estimate blood pressure. Inaccurate readings can contribute to delayed treatment or inappropriate medication changes.
Recommended Free Tools
For medically important readings, use a validated, FDA-authorized blood-pressure monitor and follow advice from a clinician. Do not change medication based on a ring reading.
Does it measure blood glucose?
If an advertisement suggests that the ring measures blood sugar or glucose without piercing the skin, treat that as a major red flag. The FDA says it has not authorized, cleared or approved any smartwatch or smart ring to measure or estimate blood glucose independently without skin penetration. Its February 21, 2024 warning also distinguishes this from a ring or watch merely displaying data supplied by an authorized continuous glucose monitor.
What do the reviews show?
Seller-hosted testimonials
Different sales pages display different figures, including claimed ratings of 4.9 from 8,258 reviews, 4.86 from 590 reviews and another total of 19,465 reviews. Because these counts vary across domains and are hosted by sellers or affiliated retailers, they are not independently audited review data.

App Store complaints
The App Store listing for an app called VITAL RING includes reviewer reports of pairing failures, reconnection problems, confusion about the correct app, possible redirection to the LeFun app and difficulty obtaining refunds. Some developer replies say that the product is sold only in Korea.

User forums
Reddit discussions include individual reports about pairing, support, possible recurring charges and devices that stopped working. These are anecdotal reports, not independently verified failure rates. They should be considered warning signals rather than conclusive proof of fraud.
Is the Vital Health Ring a scam?
There is not enough evidence to make a legally definitive fraud allegation against every seller using the Vital Health Ring name. A more defensible conclusion is that the product shows multiple warning signs associated with low-transparency or affiliate-driven wearable sales:
- Several similarly branded domains claim to represent the product.
- Prices, discount percentages and review totals differ substantially.
- “Official” branding and countdown promotions appear on sales pages.
- The manufacturer and exact product identity are not consistently clear.
- Medical-sounding accuracy claims are not accompanied by validation data.
- The app ecosystem and country compatibility are uncertain.
- Some users report pairing, billing, support or refund difficulties.
That combination is enough to make the ring a high-risk purchase, even without proving that every order is illegitimate.

Pricing does not establish value
The observed offers are inconsistent. One site displayed $35.99 against a stated regular price of $119.98, while another displayed $55.75. Other pages advertised discounts of 50%, 60% or 70%.
These prices are time-sensitive and domain-specific, so there is no reliable single “current price” to quote. More importantly, a large discount from an unverified regular price is not evidence of quality or savings. Record the exact domain, price, shipping cost, return policy and date before ordering.
What to verify before ordering
- Seller identity: Find the legal business name, physical return address, telephone number and support email.
- Returns: Check whether the refund is full, who pays return shipping and whether restocking fees apply.
- Warranty: Confirm its duration, exclusions, replacement process and responsible company.
- App: Verify the exact app name, developer, privacy policy, permissions and update history in your country’s app store.
- Compatibility: Check supported iPhone and Android versions, Bluetooth requirements and account requirements.
- Medical claims: Request an FDA authorization or clearance number for any blood-pressure, glucose, ECG or diagnostic claim.
- Payment: Do not enter card details into an unfamiliar app merely to pair a ring.
- Recurring charges: Read checkout and app terms, then monitor bank and card statements.
- Sizing: Confirm that sizes match U.S. sizing and determine whether a sizing kit is available.
- Evidence: Prefer independent testing and documentation over testimonials hosted by the seller.
If the ring will not pair
Possible causes include the wrong companion app, an unsupported operating system, a ring already paired to another phone, disabled Bluetooth permissions, insufficient charge or an unsupported seller-specific app.
- Do not install an unrelated app solely because the seller’s instructions are unclear.
- Do not provide payment-card information for basic pairing or activation.
- Capture screenshots of errors and keep the order confirmation, packaging and correspondence.
- Contact the seller in writing and ask for exact app, model and return instructions.
- If the product cannot be identified or supported, use the written return policy promptly.
If the app requests an account, check whether it also introduces a trial subscription, automatic renewal, separate terms or broad data-sharing permissions.
If readings disagree with medical equipment
Do not calibrate the ring against one reading and assume that it is accurate. Optical readings can be affected by movement, loose fit, ring rotation, cold fingers, poor circulation, tattoos, sweat and moisture. Conditions such as Raynaud’s disease or other circulation problems may also interfere with pulse signals; Oura discusses similar limitations in its medical-conditions guidance.

Alternatives worth comparing
Readers seeking a smart ring should compare products with a clearly identifiable manufacturer, documented app, support infrastructure and transparent limitations.
- Oura: A mature sleep and wellness ecosystem with extensive support documentation. Check the current device price and membership cost, and remember that Oura describes the ring as a non-medical device.
- Samsung Galaxy Ring: A sensible comparison for Samsung Galaxy owners who want Samsung Health integration. Setup and full functionality may depend on a Samsung account and Galaxy smartphone, making it a poor fit for many iPhone users.
- RingConn: A direct smart-ring competitor with subscription-free positioning. Verify the current generation, price, phone compatibility, warranty and availability before buying.
For blood pressure, compare FDA-authorized cuff monitors—not smart rings. For glucose, use an authorized glucose meter or continuous glucose monitor. The FDA’s sensor-based digital-health database can help distinguish specific authorized products; authorization for one ring does not transfer to another.
Who should buy it?
There is no clearly established buyer profile for the Vital Health Ring. A risk-tolerant shopper might consider it only as a cheap, screenless wellness gadget after confirming the exact seller, app, return terms and product identity. Even then, the likely benefit is limited to casual trends if the hardware and software function as advertised.
Anyone who needs reliable medical measurements, dependable customer support, clear privacy practices, documented compatibility or clinically meaningful accuracy should avoid it and choose a more transparent product or proper medical equipment.
