Watches and Wonders Geneva 2024 did not publish a ranking of “Nacho’s favorites,” and the event’s official pages do not identify Nacho or establish his personal picks. The releases can still be assessed on their documented merits: Rolex’s Oystersteel GMT-Master II brought a grey-and-black ceramic bezel, while TAG Heuer presented a split-seconds chronograph in its square Monaco design. Here is what the official event material confirms—and what it does not.
Why this is not a verified list of Nacho’s favorites
The official Watches and Wonders novelty directory is a catalogue of releases, not a poll, award list, or ranking of enthusiast favorites. It does not identify Nacho or say which watches he preferred. Without a published recommendation or other direct attribution, calling any selection “Nacho’s favorites” would imply a personal endorsement that the available event material cannot substantiate.
The watches below are therefore presented as notable releases documented by the event, not as Nacho’s picks. The distinction matters: a brand’s description of a release is not an independent test or a comparative verdict.
What Watches and Wonders Geneva 2024 included
The event ran from April 9 to 15, 2024. The Salon opened to the public April 13–15, after four days reserved for professionals. Its April 4, 2024 press kit reported 54 exhibiting Maisons. A September 2023 announcement had said 55 brands were confirmed before the event; the later press kit gives the final event count. Watches and Wonders Geneva’s April 2024 press kit

Two releases with clearly documented distinctions
Rolex GMT-Master II: grey-and-black bezel in Oystersteel
Rolex presented an Oystersteel GMT-Master II with a grey-and-black Cerachrom bezel insert. The event page lists two bracelet options—Oyster and Jubilee—and describes a green 24-hour hand for tracking another location that has personal significance to the wearer. These details distinguish the event release; the page does not provide independent performance testing. Rolex at Watches and Wonders Geneva 2024

- The "Tsuyosa" Automatic, from the NJ015 series, brings ultramodern sports styling right to your wrist. Executed in a versatile 40mm footprint, the sophisticated design of the watch makes a strong impression via a silver-tone stainless steel case and a seamlessly integrated, matching bracelet.
- . Underneath an anti-reflective sapphire crystal, the sporty timepiece makes use of a sunray green dial, with a 3 o’clock date window and contrasting silver-tone details adding to its classic aesthetic. Powered by an automatic movement and offering up to 50 meters of water resistance, the refined timepiece is a daily wearing choice ready for work, play, and everything in between. Caliber 8210.
- 3 Hand with Date, Automatic, 42 Hour Power Reserve
- Sapphire Crystal
- 50M Water Resistant and 5 Year Limited Warranty
Its documented appeal is visual and practical: the two-tone bezel gives this version a different look, while the 24-hour hand supports tracking another time zone. The event page does not establish a price, present-day availability, or comparative accuracy.
TAG Heuer Monaco Split-Seconds Chronograph: a rattrapante in a square case
TAG Heuer described the Monaco Split-Seconds Chronograph as a high-watchmaking interpretation of the square Monaco design and a tribute to the 1969 original. Its defining complication is a rattrapante, or split-seconds chronograph, which allows separate timing of overlapping events. The event material establishes the complication and design framing, but does not supply independently tested accuracy or performance comparisons. TAG Heuer at Watches and Wonders Geneva 2024

Compared with the Rolex, the Monaco’s documented distinction is the chronograph complication and square-case lineage, rather than a second-time-zone feature. Which is more compelling depends on whether a wearer is drawn to timing functions and the Monaco’s form or to the GMT-Master II’s travel-oriented display and bezel design.
Tudor Black Bay 58 GMT: listed, but details are not established here
The official novelty index includes the Tudor Black Bay 58 GMT among 2024 releases. Consult a dedicated official Tudor source for those specifics before comparing it on technical grounds. Official 2024 novelty index

How to read these releases without mistaking promotion for a verdict
The event pages confirm what the brands chose to highlight, not how a watch performs in independent testing or whether it suits a particular buyer. For these releases, the substantiated comparison is limited to the documented design and function: the Rolex’s grey-and-black bezel, bracelet choices, and 24-hour hand; the TAG Heuer’s split-seconds complication and square Monaco design; and the Tudor’s presence in the release directory.
No prices, current stock, or authorized-retailer availability are established by these event sources. Those details vary by market and date and should be checked with the brand or an authorized retailer before making a purchase decision.
