Hermanos Koumori says it designs and tests products in Mexico City at 2,240 meters above sea level, presenting the city’s elevation as a demanding environment for assessing products in motion. That is the company’s account of its process; it does not establish an independently verified performance advantage or an altitude-training benefit for wearers.
What does Hermanos Koumori make?
The brand lists race singlets, training shorts and tights, short- and long-sleeve shirts, caps, and socks as part of its performance running apparel range. Its official description is “Performance running apparel for people who run every week, not once a year.” That line signals the intended regular runner, but it is brand language rather than evidence of comparative durability or technical performance.

What is the adidas x Hermanos Koumori collaboration?

How does the label connect running with local culture?
The brand’s collaborations also reach beyond technical kit. Field Mag reports seasonal drops with New Era, while a Spanish-language release hosted by New Era documented a Post Running High capsule: a beige 9FORTY, a bucket hat, and three 9FORTY 5-panel caps. New Era attributed lightweight construction, a breathable inner band, adjustable fit, and sweat-evaporation features to that collection; those are product-release claims, not independent test results, and current availability was not established.
Field Mag also reports that Hermanos Koumori released official running jerseys celebrating Mexico City as a 2026 FIFA World Cup host city.
