It tells the time with hours in a counter at 9 o’clock, seconds in one at 3 o’clock, and a central hand for minutes. The eye-like displays and crown-shaped winding crown give the watch its “Frog Princess” character.
How does the Unfrogettable tell time?
Unlike a conventional watch with three hands sharing a central axis, the Unfrogettable separates its indications. Read the hours from the small display at 9 o’clock, the minutes from the central arrow-shaped hand, and the seconds from the display at 3 o’clock. The two counters form the frog’s eyes; Louis Erard describes their pupils as rotating.

The layout is a regulator display, a format that places hours, minutes, and seconds in separate positions. Here, that functional arrangement is also the central design idea: a winding crown shaped like a crown completes the Frog Princess persona. Konstantin Chaykin’s collaboration page and Louis Erard’s press materials frame the character as drawing on Russian folklore. The brands also connect the strap’s leather and lacquer finish with techniques used for samurai armor; these are the makers’ design references.

What are the editions and reference numbers?
Louis Erard’s 2025 press release identifies Green and Purple editions. Its later news page introduces Turquoise and Brown as additional color expressions. The Green and Purple references and the newer color descriptions are established by official materials, but specifications for one color should not automatically be assumed to apply to another.

What should you check before choosing a color?
Because the collection has expanded beyond its original Green and Purple releases, compare editions by their own references and product information rather than by color alone. Confirm the reference number, dial color and finish, edition size, current availability, and the technical specifications published for that exact version. Availability and pricing can change, and the Green page’s waiting-list state does not say when a watch might be delivered.
