The new Parmigiani Fleurier Toric collection began as a 2024 relaunch with two watches: the time-only Toric Petite Seconde and the split-seconds Toric Chronographe Rattrapante. The Maison’s current collection page presents a third expression, the Toric Quantième Perpétuel, and describes the three as a 30th-anniversary trilogy in 2026. The result is a range spanning restrained dress-watch timekeeping to highly complicated chronograph and calendar functions.

How the Toric collection changed from 2024 to 2026

Parmigiani Fleurier announced the new Toric collection on April 9, 2024, with the Petite Seconde and Chronographe Rattrapante. The Maison’s 2024 Watches and Wonders overview presented the launch pair as dress watches shaped by precious materials and hand-finished details. CEO Guido Terreni described the collection as reflecting “the evolution of the modern man’s wardrobe.” The 2024 announcement and Watches and Wonders overview establish the launch context.

The line subsequently expanded: Parmigiani’s press category lists an in-store launch of two new Petite Seconde references on August 28, 2025. On April 14, 2026, the Maison described the Petite Seconde, Quantième Perpétuel, and Chronographe Rattrapante together as a 30th-anniversary trilogy. Its current collection page labels the displayed models 2026 novelties. That current snapshot does not, by itself, establish that every earlier reference has been discontinued.

The Maison also released a 2024 film titled “Introducing The New TORIC collection.” It is manufacturer material introducing the launch watches, not an independent hands-on review. The launch announcement includes the media-kit context, while the Watches and Wonders page presents the models.

Three watches, three different jobs

Expression Function and movement details Materials and design details
Toric Petite Seconde Time display with small seconds. The cited Sand Gold rose-gold reference uses the manually wound PF780, with a 60-hour power reserve and 4 Hz frequency. The cited reference pairs a rose-gold case with a Sand Gold dial. The Maison’s 2024 overview describes gold dials, indexes, hands, and movements for the Petite Seconde, with cases in gold or platinum.
Toric Chronographe Rattrapante A split-seconds chronograph. For the 2026 anniversary description, Parmigiani states 5 Hz, measurement to one tenth of a second, and 285 components. The anniversary version is described with an openworked 18-carat rose-gold movement, a hand-hammered white-gold Agave Blue dial, and a platinum case. These details belong to that edition’s description, not every rattrapante.
Toric Quantième Perpétuel A perpetual calendar with coaxial indications. The presented PF733 version is listed at 4 Hz with a 60-hour power reserve. The current collection page emphasizes the anniversary line’s hand-hammered gold dials and gold movements; consult the model page for the particular edition’s materials.

Parmigiani’s 2024 overview also describes the launch chronograph’s 18-carat rose-gold movement, 5 Hz frequency, double column wheel, and skeletonized construction. The more detailed 2026 anniversary specifications above should not be retroactively applied to all 2024 or later variants. The current Toric collection page provides the Maison’s anniversary descriptions.

What the Petite Seconde specifications mean

For the specific rose-gold and Sand Gold reference PFC940-2010001-300181-EN, Parmigiani lists a 40.6 mm case diameter and 8.8 mm thickness. Those measurements are reference-specific, not a universal Toric case size. The manually wound PF780 movement is listed with 157 components, 27 jewels, a 60-hour power reserve, and a 4 Hz frequency; the watch is rated to 30 metres water resistance. These are manufacturer-published specifications, not independent test results. See the official Petite Seconde product page.

In practical terms, this is the collection’s simplest complication: hours, minutes, and a small-seconds display, without a calendar or chronograph. Manual winding makes interaction with the movement part of everyday ownership. Parmigiani’s 2024 description also notes an alligator strap with nubuck finish and “punto a mano” stitching, or hand stitching.

How to read the collection’s design language

The Toric’s visual approach is intentionally different across the range. The Petite Seconde keeps the display focused on time, while the rattrapante’s openworked movement exposes more of its mechanism and the perpetual calendar adds multiple indications. Across these forms, Parmigiani highlights precious-metal cases and movements, textured or hand-finished dials, and polished components. Its terms such as “refined” and “serene” are the Maison’s design characterizations rather than independent quality assessments.

On the anniversary chronograph, the brand describes polished steel components set against warm rose-gold surfaces; the contrast helps distinguish the layered mechanism. The hand-hammered gold dial descriptions likewise refer to surface treatment, not a separate complication. The three watches therefore share a material and finishing vocabulary without presenting the same dial layout or level of visual complexity.

Price and availability depend on the reference and market

When accessed in 2026, Parmigiani’s official page displayed CHF 49,500 for the rose-gold Petite Seconde reference PFC940-2010001-300181-EN and directed shoppers toward an authorized-dealer path. That is a dated listing for one reference, not a collection-wide price or a guarantee of current availability. Check the official reference page and confirm local availability with an authorized dealer.

Watch the official 2024 introduction

Parmigiani Fleurier’s official film, “Introducing The New TORIC collection,” was published alongside the April 9, 2024 launch. It introduces the Petite Seconde’s manually wound gold movement and hand-finished dial, and the rattrapante’s rose-gold movement, 5 Hz frequency, and double column wheel. Treat it as a brand presentation of the launch models, rather than evidence of independent testing or a complete guide to the 2026 anniversary versions.
