Panerai’s high-watchmaking highlight at Watches and Wonders Geneva 2025 was the Luminor Perpetual Calendar GMT Platinumtech PAM01575, a 44 mm Luminor combining a perpetual calendar and GMT functions in the automatic P.4100 calibre. But the brand’s wider presentation centred on a refreshed Luminor Marina collection, alongside the Jupiterium, a mechanical astronomical clock.
Panerai presented these pieces as expressions of innovation grounded in its instrument-watch identity. The specifications below are manufacturer-published; they should not be read as independent performance-test results.
Panerai’s 2025 presentation: the Marina leads, with a high-complication Luminor
Panerai’s Watches and Wonders 2025 presentation made the Luminor Marina refresh the central collection story. The PAM01575 drew attention for a different reason: it brought a perpetual calendar and GMT into a Platinumtech Luminor case. A third element was the Jupiterium, a large mechanical clock presenting astronomical indications.
That distinction matters: the PAM01575 is the headline high-complication wristwatch, but it was not the entirety of Panerai’s 2025 launch.

Luminor Perpetual Calendar GMT Platinumtech PAM01575
Case, dial and Luminor character
The PAM01575 has a 44 mm case made from Panerai Platinumtech, a blue sapphire dial and a screw-down transparent sapphire case back. Panerai lists water resistance at 50 metres. The dial’s sapphire construction allows elements of the complication to be seen, while the case back exposes the movement. The bridge-protected crown keeps the watch’s Luminor instrument-watch character in view; this is not simply a conventional dress calendar in a precious-metal case.
Panerai lists a dark blue alligator strap and an additional dark blue rubber strap, both in 24/22 sizing. The brand’s PAM01575 specifications identify the reference and its supplied configuration.

What the launch does—and does not—establish
The 2025 presentation shows Panerai pairing a collection-wide Marina update with a more complicated Luminor and an astronomical clock. The PAM01575 is the option for buyers drawn to a perpetual calendar and GMT in a 44 mm Platinumtech case; the Marina models are the simpler collection alternatives, with steel or titanium options described above. The Jupiterium is a separate horological display, not a wristwatch choice.
