The company’s “full circle” language refers to its decade-long story, not to a separately documented theory about circular design. The announcement does not verify a “Zirkel X Pro” product name, specifications, price, release date or availability.
What STERNGLAS announced on 7 October 2026
On its German website, STERNGLAS dated the anniversary announcement 7 October 2026 and presented the Zirkel X as the watch associated with the company’s tenth birthday. The English version promises: “Stay tuned for a completely new timepiece that brings everything full circle after ten years.” That sentence is the basis for the circle reference in the announcement.

In context, “full circle” is anniversary framing. STERNGLAS is connecting a new watch with the company’s journey from its founding to its tenth year. The announcement does not say that the circle has a separate philosophical meaning, nor does it claim that the watch proves a universal significance of circles.

Founder Dustin Fontaine describes the company’s origin and growth in the same article: “Ten years ago, as I sat at my desk, I had a simple vision: to design timepieces that make great design and honest quality accessible to everyone. What started small back then has grown into an incredible journey—thanks to you. Quite honestly, without your trust and support, none of this would have been possible.” The statement positions the Zirkel X as a milestone in that story rather than as a fully specified product launch.

Is there a STERNGLAS Zirkel X Pro?
The reviewed official announcement identifies the new watch as the Zirkel X. It does not confirm a “Zirkel X Pro” designation. No authoritative product listing reviewed for this announcement establishes that a Pro variant exists.
That distinction matters because the original Zirkel’s published details cannot be transferred to a new model by assumption. Until STERNGLAS publishes a matching product page or gives direct confirmation, “Zirkel X Pro” should be treated as an unverified label rather than a confirmed retail SKU.

What the original Zirkel contributes to the story
The earlier Zirkel provides historical context, not specifications for the X. STERNGLAS says the original model received the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2020 and calls it “the minimalist among the minimalists” in its collection. The company associates that watch with Bauhaus-influenced minimalism.

They impress not only with their aesthetics but also with their incomparable functionality. With their designs, the winners set new standards in their industry.” This is a general statement about Red Dot winners, not an evaluation of the new Zirkel X.
Specifications and buying details that remain unknown
The anniversary announcement does not state the Zirkel X’s movement, case diameter or thickness, crystal, water resistance, dial configuration, strap, warranty, price, release date or regional stock status. It also does not establish compatibility with accessories from the original Zirkel.

What “the circle’s significance” means here
The title’s wording can imply that STERNGLAS has demonstrated a broader design principle. The available announcement supports a narrower conclusion: the circle is a metaphor for completing ten years of company history. It does not provide independent research, statistics or a design-criticism argument proving that circles have a particular cultural or functional significance.

- 5-in-1 Connectivity: Equipped with a 4K HDMI port, a 5 Gbps USB-C data port, two 5 Gbps USB-A ports, and a USB C 100W PD-IN port. Note: The USB C 100W PD-IN port supports only charging and does not support data transfer devices such as headphones or speakers.
- Powerful Pass-Through Charging: Supports up to 85W pass-through charging so you can power up your laptop while you use the hub. Note: Pass-through charging requires a charger (not included). Note: To achieve full power for iPad, we recommend using a 45W wall charger.
- Transfer Files in Seconds: Move files to and from your laptop at speeds of up to 5 Gbps via the USB-C and USB-A data ports. Note: The USB C 5Gbps Data port does not support video output.
- HD Display: Connect to the HDMI port to stream or mirror content to an external monitor in resolutions of up to 4K@30Hz. Note: The USB-C ports do not support video output.
- What You Get: Anker 332 USB-C Hub (5-in-1), welcome guide, our worry-free 18-month warranty, and friendly customer service.
The strongest established meaning is therefore narrative. STERNGLAS began with a vision of accessible design, reached its tenth anniversary in 2026 and introduced the Zirkel X as a watch that links the present moment to that origin.
What to check when official details arrive
- Confirm the exact model name on an official STERNGLAS product page; do not assume a “Pro” version is included.
- Check the movement, case diameter and thickness, crystal, water resistance and date layout against the original Zirkel rather than copying older specifications.
- Verify the stated price, currency, warranty and shipping region, because the announcement gives none of those buyer terms.
- Confirm the release date and whether stock is available in your country.
- Only then assess whether straps or other accessories are explicitly compatible.
Bottom line on the Zirkel X announcement
STERNGLAS has confirmed an anniversary-led Zirkel X announcement, not a fully documented Zirkel X Pro launch. “Full circle” describes the company reaching ten years; it is not presented as proof of a universal meaning of circular watch design. The original Zirkel’s 2020 award and specifications explain the model’s legacy, but they should not be used to fill the new watch’s unanswered details.
