The two cited references share the H800 movement and slide-rule ring, but differ in their band: the AT8020-03L is listed with a coated-leather strap, while the AT8020-54L has a steel bracelet. These examples should not be taken to mean every Citizen Blue Angels watch uses H800 or the same dial layout.

What does the rotating ring do?
Citizen describes the marked ring as a “pilot’s rotating slide rule dial ring.” Its printed scales can be aligned with the inner scale to make arithmetic-style conversions and estimates. Citizen’s H800-family manual says: “Flying distance and other navigation calculations as well as general calculations can be performed using the slide rule bezel located around the outside of the dial.”

This is a general reference, not a precision instrument or certified navigation equipment.
