What watch is Pharrell wearing?
It is the Richard Mille RM UP-01 Ferrari, a collaboration between Swiss watchmaker Richard Mille and Ferrari. News Minimalist’s October 6, 2026 report, attributing its story to Esquire, identifies the watch at the Sacai Spring/Summer 2027 show in Paris and says Pharrell has worn it on previous occasions.
The £750,000 figure in that report is an approximate value. Ferrari’s own article about the watch does not confirm a retail price, and the sources cited here do not establish a current official price or a verified listing for sale.
How thin is the RM UP-01 Ferrari?
News Minimalist’s report gives the watch’s overall thickness as 1.75 mm, the movement thickness as 1.18 mm and the power reserve as 45 hours. These measurements and the reserve figure are attributed to that secondary report; Ferrari’s article describes the watch as the slimmest Richard Mille had produced but does not list those specific figures.

What makes it a Ferrari collaboration?
Ferrari’s account identifies the case as Grade 5 titanium and says it is laser-engraved with the Prancing Horse logo. The collaboration is not just a Ferrari-branded dial: Ferrari says the project involved many years of work and dozens of prototypes.
Ferrari also says development and testing took around 6,000 hours and that the watch can withstand shocks of up to 5,000 G. Those are the manufacturer’s claims, not independent test results established here. The October 2026 report separately describes the watch as having acceleration resistance above 5,000 g.

Is this the same watch as Pharrell’s earlier Richard Mille?
No. Pharrell has also been associated with the RM 52-05 Pharrell Williams, a separate Richard Mille collaboration. Wallpaper* describes that earlier model as Mars-inspired, with a stylized astronaut helmet and a Grade 5 titanium structure. Those details belong to the RM 52-05, not the RM UP-01 Ferrari.
Ferrari’s article also quotes Guillaume Mille, identified as the film director and Richard Mille’s son, describing the brand’s outlook: “You don’t wear a Richard Mille on your wrist to keep track of time but because you’re in control of your destiny.” It is a comment on the brand idea and collaboration film, not a technical explanation of the Ferrari watch.
