The Frederique Constant Highlife is not a 2026 launch: the brand dates the collection to 1999 and says it was revived in 2020. What is new is a set of specific models currently marked “New” on official pages. The most fully documented is the 39 mm Highlife Moonphase Date Manufacture, reference FC-716RG3NH6, with an automatic manufacture movement, a 72-hour power reserve, moonphase, and hand-indicated date.
What is actually new in the Highlife collection?
Frederique Constant’s current collection pages identify particular models as new; the label does not mean the entire Highlife family has just launched. The brand says the first Highlife models appeared in 1999 and describes the collection as returning to prominence in 2020. Current U.S. men’s listings also mark Highlife Automatic and Chronograph Automatic entries as new. The clearest new model with detailed specifications is the Highlife Moonphase Date Manufacture FC-716RG3NH6.

The range remains broad, with official pages listing automatic, COSC-certified, chronograph, Heart Beat, worldtimer, moonphase, and perpetual-calendar men’s watches, alongside women’s quartz and automatic models. A “new” badge is therefore best read as a model-level designation, not a collection-wide redesign.
What sets the Moonphase Date Manufacture apart?
Frederique Constant Canada lists the FC-716RG3NH6 as both “New” and “Manufacture.” Its automatic FC-716 movement has a stated 72-hour power reserve. The 39 mm stainless-steel case measures 12.1 mm thick, and the watch is rated to 100 m / 10 bar water resistance. A moonphase display and hand-indicated date sit at six o’clock.

The Canadian product listing pairs a champagne-rosé sunray dial with a blue Saffiano leather strap and includes an additional brushed-and-polished five-link steel bracelet. At the time the page was accessed in 2026, it displayed CA$7,295 and “Almost sold out”; those are regional, time-sensitive listing details, not a guaranteed current price or availability.
How the Highlife design and interchangeable straps work
The Highlife’s defining visual idea is a continuous-looking transition from case to bracelet, with no conventional lugs on the men’s case. Frederique Constant describes the men’s case as 41 mm on its collection page; that figure does not apply to every Highlife, including the 39 mm moonphase reference or the smaller women’s watches.

Prices vary by market, model, and listing date. The Frederique Constant U.S. men’s catalog displayed inspected entries from $2,595 for Automatic COSC variants to $34,995 for a limited Tourbillon Perpetual Calendar Manufacture; other displayed examples included a chronograph at $4,595, a Worldtimer at $5,995, and a Perpetual Calendar Manufacture at $11,395.
